A good battle manga (NO FLASH)

I know Tenjou Tenge was pretty popular at the time, but like Air Gear at the time, I never really gotten into the series. I'll admit Oh! Great has mad art skills but he lacks when it comes to story and action, personally.

I usually get turn off by most battle mangas, mainly because most battle manga rely on flash and explosions. I don't mind cool or over the top fights, but I can't stand flashy fights. So in other words:
NO!
History's Strongest Disciple Kenichi
Bleach
My Hero Academia

Tokkaten I will love to read. I been a huge fan of Kengo Hanazawa's works, Boys on the Run ,Ressentiment and I Am a Hero. He really knows how to tell a very harsh, very awkward, bizarre and yet heart touching stories. embarrassed

Nichijou will be on the top 10 in my list. Even though the anime didn't sell to well in Japan, mainly because of the 2011 earthquake and the series didn't really scream to hardcore Otakus nor Moe fans, I still say Nichijou is an enjoyable series. cool

I this is an odd question to ask but hear me out. I notice today's manga artists are very precise with their style, with anatomy, consistence, details and line work. Which is not a bad thing mind you, but I also notice most manga artist's styles are very safe; they know how ...

Sorry my description is too vague. I was kinda in a rush for work so I didn't had any time to explain myself.

There isn't really something called a long one shot unless 30-40+ pages is what you mean, since one shot are basically 1 chapter long. Unles...

NO ROMANCE, though.

Just found out some of my favorite mangakas created some H-manga/H-doujinshi. Mangakas like Kiyohiko Azuma, Masaki Kajishima, and even Akira Toriyama (He drew a simple splash page).
I want to know are there more Non-H mangakas who drew some H-manga/H-doujinshi before.

Then it did what it's supposed to do. What I love about Boys on the Run is that the protagonist is very flawed, just like we all are. Often times he thinks with his manhood instead of his brain and people get hurt. But if you like surprises, Boys has...

I think you should try out Himizu or Ciguatera, both by Furuya Minoru. Not terribly thought-provoking but certainly bizarre. Furuya has a very unique and recognizable style that I think you'd like based on your lists.

Also, anything by Asano Inio.

I think one mangaka that comes in mind is Hirohiko Araki. His first manga he ever made is "Mashounen BT". His art style in the past was passable at most. I'm surprise his art style improve GREATLY over the years.

Maybe it's just me, but I find this request odd. For a weekly series to have a low number of volumes typically means it was axed and not very good, which makes it difficult to recommend.

Having said that, I recently started to read Shokugeki no Soma and it...
