Well, obviously, mostly everything in excess is bad.
And yeah, the otaku term isn't very widely known in the western world anyways. I learned about it early but that's because I'm not "[North] American" myself.

Sadly, I'd have to disagree with skittles's point of view.
I really wouldn't care if that otaku girl of my dreams was considered a social outcast. (heck, if she were viewing anime in her laptop I'd seriously consider it for something long-term, if we get to understand each...

Lol, the translation pack for Melty Blood is in course. Notice tells me that it should be out in a week or so... the translations themselves are complete, it's a question of image rendering that the translators are having. Check out the Beast's Lair for more info.
