Good art as expected from sensei, the plot's kinda interesting but i'm hoping there are more characters development and sure the plot too

Gorgeous art, as expected from Yamane sensei. The main characters are so hot, and the story is really intriguing. It is so exciting that I can hardly wait for the next chapter to come out. The sex scenes are awesome and there are many of those. Gentle seme and fierce uke, I love it! The art is so detail. The best art ever!

crimson spell really keep me going there, ion other word, im motivated by the art and the plot of the story, i thought it is very good, how Ayano-sensei draw fantasy object and creatures. The art work still the best xD. great plot too, my favorite fantasy

i too am always very excited to see this manga got updated!!even after countless yaoi manga i've read, crimson spell never fails to make me blushed!!too good and so hot!!!i loved it!!;)

I wasnt motivated to read this one...The first chapter i readed quickly, and it didnt atract me at all..BUt fortunatly, i keeped reading it..maybe because the art was great or i hoped that it would change a little.
An sure it did so ^^
This manga has somehting that makes it irresistible...i cannot say that the plot is original, because it isnt..but I think that the tipe of relationship that Val and Hall have makes this story so amazing..
off course, the quality of drawing from this mangaka is amazing...so, you can be sure you will enjoy that too ^^ The main difference between her style of drawing from another yaoi's mangakas is that she trully knows when to put the chibi-faces during the story...so cute! And i didnt think she will managed to recreate fighting scenes with THAT quality....the movements with swords, the beast-Val..all..is exquisite and very well drown
If but you`re looking is "only action" you can pass form this...because you wont find a lot of scenes ...but if you`re looking for a good erotic fantasy, with a funny plot and cool characters, pick thos one and you wont regret it

Ah i really should have read this one sooner, it's sooo good. The story is just great and unique. I love sensei's work but maybe this one tops all of the others?...I love the relationship between them and volume 2 and 3 is so intense my heart just keep thumpin. For those who enjoy reading The Ice-Cold Demon this one has the same type of adventure and humor, except we get to see hard yaoi ^_^

Just a correction on the release info (I'm just checking my downloads here...):
Crimson Spell Chp 10 was by Nakama & Club Vogue I think
Crimson Spell Chp 11 was done completely by Club Vogue
and Chp 12 and the new Chp13 was done by Club Vogue & Celeasdiele

From what I read about their posts, Club Vogue is still a big part of scanlating this series so I just think credit should be given to them.... just to be fair ;P

Superb series I think - Gorgeous art as always coming from Ayano Yamane...but it seems that she puts even more effort into this manga at times than her other series Viewfinder - which I don't mind at all! I just love her work! ^_^

The art is what got me at first - it's absolutely beautiful. The story can jump from place to place and can get pretty confusing as more characters join the main group, not to mention the fact that the curse on Val turns out to be far more involved than just the case of a dodgy sword, but it's still a good fantasy and ultimately it's the main characters that keep me hooked. Prince Val and Halvir develop a surprisingly deep bond based on friendship, mutual trust and need as well as romance - it takes awhile to get going, but it's worth the wait. It helps that they're both attractive and quirky, plus there's plenty of humour in the story and great banter.

Either way, it's worth reading just to see the beautiful artwork.

The story line at first wasn't something and it was a little odd(develoment wise. the idea itself was fine^^).
But what really draws the eye at the beging(at least mine) the beautiful art and, as it says at the description-"Very Graphic"-this is indeed true^^ but what's not to like about it. Wish there were more works with Yamane Ayano's lvl of art... oh well, I guesse it's like a precius treat^^.

Bought the first volume and can't wait for the second one to come out.

This is the kind of yaoi I love! Wish there were more in a fantasy setting like this.

Absolutely love the artwork. Yamane Ayano draws butts beautifully.
