Characters are just so terrible, plain, lame, pathetic, and unlikable, those girls aren't girls, they are stupid kawaii girls that don't act like girls, grow up old man otaku

It's a gag manga but take itself too serious, the joke are all hideous,, and all the fanservice make look stupid

The novel is sht, the anime sht, dropped after 10 minutes

Definitely a light read and no heavy drama or serious plot to really speak of, especially within the first few volumes. It's a great read to relax and kill some time and fits within the RPG genre but definitely more of a comedy than anything else. The characters are fun albeit random but I thoroughly enjoyed reading it especially coming off of a really serious read beforehand. If you're looking for something funny and light-hearted then this is a good book to pick up and relax to, especially coming off of finals week and not really feeling like you want to dig deep into the emotional plots of more serious reads. If you're looking for something more serious and with faster developments and some actual romance and character growth, this isn't the series you're looking for.

Also you harem fans out there, there is no romance 5 volumes in.
Don't read this for harem. Read it for adventure comedy, this is what it's all about.

IF you want to read "LIGHT" novel with rpg genre you should read this one. Just remember this is light reading. just read one chapter at a time to enjoy it. This story is nor serious. It's light and enjoyable. If you prefer novel with heavy plot this is not your reading material.

and i could say over 70% of this LN is just comedy -_-
Adventure? Fantasy? The MC is just jack of all trade master of none, a real weakling without any cheat power -_-
Harem? Romance? so far theres no flag that raised... maybe theres some but it's really vague i barely can feel any romance in it.... or perhaps theres really none -_-
Comedy? well yeah it's decent but... so far the storyline is just a bunch of joke without any real progress

i really couldn't get into this novel, probably cause it feels like a gag manga, the MC annoyed me, as well as the side characters, couldn't even finish the first volume before i gave up on it's "humour" oriented-ness either

so if you like gag manga then i'll recommend it

I've read a bit of the light novel for dungeon whatever and some episodes of the anime and couldn't get into it. It feels like the series failed because it tried to incorporate an RPG style with the level and loot system into a universe where it never existed.

Then you have this hilarious, harem, reincarnation-into-RPG-world type series. A guy died from shock (lol) and was given the option to live on in a fantasy RPG world with a cheat like weapon or ability. He dun'goofed and screwed himself and the goddess over by taking her with him. Luckily since this guy is a HikiNEET he knew how to survive in this town with an adventurers guild and set out doing quests.

It has a nice atmosphere since the monsters aren't terribly original and I'm a fan of typical mobs like goblins and zombies. The comedy is pretty great (to me) so I enjoyed this very much

You have read Mushoku tensei, skim through Gun-Ota, and flinch at Re:Monster, but now prepare for a whole new reincarnation-to-another-world series that will take your breath away... because you are probably laughing your ass off.
