Doesn't fit the criteria

I have two goals in life. To experience as much fiction as possible, and to always do it my way. I chose to read this novel because of goal one and now I am dropping because of goal 2.

This novel is not good despite the questionable reviews/comments on this site. I would like to say that it had potential to be amazing and still does. I have gotten up to chapter 40 they have only scanlated about 109 at the time of this review. So it's safe to say I have gotten through 40% of the scanlated material. Of this 40% I stuck around because there was 25% story interest. Recently however for the past 5-10 chapters my friends have been on the run (for reasons I will not expose without a spoiler tag. During this time we see minimal development and they come across a few people who are rude, greedy etc. And thats all fine and dandy but what about the person he brought along. So the main heroine it would seem is a girl by the name chu yao or something like that and she is the first person our protagonist meets. Her character is seriously flawed in that she presents like a 6 year old girl and i believe she is supposed to be 12 and also this is a world where children have to grow up or die at an earlier age granted she is more privileged in the fact that her gramps was somewhat known for being a herb master or something. Even so that is no excuse, and as it would seem on this journey she gets stupider and stupide, either that or the protagonist in comparison to her is so much smarter he's making her look bad, either way she isn't expresse din a great light during these travels for me. On top of that things we once believed to be true have now been exposed to her during this journey. Everyone knows with reincarnation or out of this world material the protagonist has to hide some things because if they get exposed people wll question fear will envelope and next thing they know they are being pricked with needles for scientific or martial research! Now of course there are always close friends they share things with but chu should not be one of them, in fact I cannot wait for her to die. Though she has saved his life on a couple of occasions(more than a couple but it happens so often during this journey that it's like honestly if she wasn't there he wouldn't really be in this situation anyways and thus his life would be fine), it's not in a significant manner where it's like he could not have survived another way.

That is where I am at with this novel right now. I will put it down until I see 200 + chapters scanlated to try again hopefully the author had made it worth wile after this doozy in chapters 40-50

If you're looking for something unique then this probably isn't for you but if you're looking for something with competent execution then this is it. The people who say the story makes no sense obviously aren't really reading it and are probably just skimming pages, there's a reasonable explanation for all the questions i've seen people ask on here in the story, or at least it's hinted that there will be later(i've read ahead, there are explanations for everything). The only thing with no specific explanation is that the guy deleted his skills one by one but this doesn't really need an explanation because some people actually do this(me included, if it's a game i've played for over 8 months I like to look back and reminisce on how I got certain items before deleting the entire character). Asides from being well written, although this novel has some pretty basic ideas they're all executed well and all the characters are interesting. The story itself doesn't always take the route you'd expect and the characters actually make regular or even crippling mistakes frequently instead of always being perfect, making them seem more human. You can tell the author wanted to make this story and that he wasn't just filling out a checklist on what's likely to bank him some cash.

Interesting and promising, but without translator

It has an interesting premise. The title of the novel was probably wrong translated, that said at least the current translator, at the beginning there is alot about alchemy and later other production occupations such as forging and blacksmith shows up.
Unfortunately, there are currently no translators for this interesting novel. It has potential, although many behaviors are not quite understandable, but this should be due to the Asian mentality, which I do not quite understand as a person from the west. But this problem have many novels. Nevertheless, I hope to read more.

MC: Mwhahahah, look at how magnificent I Am!
Sycophant#1: S, such ... godly power! O Chosen One, please accept these free goodies and privilege!
Petty guy: Not so fast! I won't let you get your way and show her I am better, greenhorn!
MC: Watch this! - insert «Super Special Move» - I will protect her from your evil intentions! Now she is mine to groom!
Sycophant#2: So wonderful, my hero~!

It's unfortunate that I had read a few chapters - and sorry if I was wrong about later chapter- but this is impression I get from reading it. The sheer level of pettiness from most of them - MC included - totally turn me off and I just can't stand it anymore.

Twist and turns

The Alchemist God throws a seemingly generic scenario at the readers but as character and plot grows along with the story, things become unique in its own way.

TAG has a lot of potential in its future, so at least watch out for it without becoming mad about certain plot events.

The characters in this novel are human, as exemplified by their flawed thought process or discrimination against one another. Events are usually happening out of the characters' control, because no one knows how tomorrow will go.

Load of crap

Started out interesting, however immature writing and complete lack of logic or reasoning completely kills this novel.
Why do you need to delete skills one by one in the beginning instead of just deleting account completely?
Why does the Eagle eye mercenary decides to use an amazing alchemist that give you a lot of advantage in the future as a bait when anyone else would do?
Why does Lin yi simply lets the beast aura dissipate instead of trying to absorb it or refine it thus gaining a lot of levels?
There are so many inconsistencies here that despite an interesting premise the whole time I feel like face palming thinking why did the characters had to do something this stupid?
Anyway, a good idea but horrible execution. Avoid this novel if you like your novels to be logical and make sense.
