A great manga about a playboy's relationship to his (much) younger cousin whom he suddently must take care of. There's plenty of romance along the way.

I'm a bit dissapointed by the ending though, but not because it's sad. It just seemed to cut short and there were some details that were left out. The ending is of a "jump to the future" variety (which I like), but only the very basic of the main plot is developped in it; none of the characters' status/situation/etc are shown in the ending. It only addresses the core of the story. The ending is more Ichigo 100% (with even less details!) and less, much less, Kare Kano.

this story was relli cool...however the ending was kinda weird...i would have prefered a better and happier ending...but thats onli me...
i rekon kippei or wateva his name is shouldnt have any piersings i h8 guys with piercings...he would have lookd soo much betta with out any earings...anywho the story was great and it was cool...
wat i dont get is whetere or not the younger brother of kippei got a girlfriend or not...arghh this is sooo confusing...i hope he didnt he was sooooo cute!!

Plot is cliché, art is ok, ending is a bit abrupt.

But still one of my favourite since years ago, I think that I reread it at least once a year.

There are two things I really liked about this manga: the characters and the ending.
I'm not going to give away the ending, but I will say that this ending was one of the few manga endings that really did something for me.
However, while I like slow story progression, this one was a bit disjointed. I don't know, I guess it bothered me a little that there were all these little incidents and anecdotes that didn't really bring much to the main story.
All in all, I give this manga an 8 because I liked the main girl character, and the art was OK.

Many times I've seen this manga, but always skipped it, I don't know why, but I would immediately skip it, maybe because I don't like mangas revolving around children too much :/ . Anyway, it was a pretty decent read, but I just couldn't help but to just scream at my laptop and grind my teeth on certain aspects of the manga. First of all, lets talk about the drama content. It went smoothly until around chapters 20 and up. It's like the author just said, lets just throw all cliched drama content and hope it sticks =_=. Soo many unnecessary cliff hangers and I just hated how everyone just relied so heavily on the main guy. Secondly, the author added to much useless characters who showed up in a few chapters, then disappeared completely in the next. The stalker chick, the abusive baseball player and even the chick with the little sister. They just vanished into thin air! never to be heard from again!. I wont even mention how completely annoying Yuzu was. Now don't get me wrong, I understand that her mom leaving her cause a psychological scar, but it was pretty unfair for her to say that she was lonely when other family members lived in the house as well and it seemed a bit unfair.
I'll give this manga one point higher only because the anime couldn't even compare to it. The art in the anime was ugly and the person who voiced yuzu was really annoying.

It was definitely different from what I usually read, but I liked it nonetheless. I do not think I will read it again, but that doesn't mean it wasn't memorable. I found it cute, touching, romantic, but not as satisfying as it could have been.
A good first read with a brilliant plot and likable characters.

This would be a nice story,
Also, I have two little nieces (near Yuzuyu's age), and they don't say so profound things like Yuzuyu sometimes says. I remember myself in that age - I was too shy to say smth like that, and I simply couldn't find words. So her speech looks rather unbelievable to me.

Beside these things, this manga is cute)

Kokoro, Kippei, and Yuzuya amazing. Art is amazing. The relationship between Kippei and Yuzuya is so unique honestly and Kokora and Kippei are also a mean as couple!! Story neva dragged at any point. Every chapter was unique and contributed to da overall story, sooo good. I love dis manga. I agree with other people about the ending. The ending was bad. I mean writer shud have showed an ending which tells us about the fates of all the characters. What happens to Kokoro? What happens to Miki? What happens to Reiko? None of those important questions are answered. So yea ending was bad. But still great manga!! Yuzuya is soooooo damn cute!! This is aktuli at dis moment my favourite manga evaaa. Love it wish it was longer. I wish dre was a sequel, damn. Even though ending was bad, i loved it sooo much have to give it a 10

I've watched the anime before and I stopped watching it for some reason. Then recently, I read the manga and I like fell in love with it =D. Yuzuyu is SO cute and the relationship between Kippei and Yuzuyu is just to die for. The ending almost made me cry but that's okay because the story is very touching. I totally reccomend this manga because of the plot (mainly) and how cute the art can get.
