It felt like I was missing whole pages in each chapter. I do love it, I really do, and there are loads of interesting points as well, but nothing is properly developed at all. We are left with so many questions and stock characters. The last story was my fav story because it was properly done.

On the one hand, the main story just isn't very well-written at all and its progression is hella poorly paced and developed. The third chapter felt especially rushed because so many scenes had to be crammed into such a small space, leaving little room for the audience to immerse in any of them. But on the other hand I'd be lying if I said it didn't make me feel something whenever the main leads were in physical contact with each other lol. They have visible chemistry and the mood around them is always quite romantic. Then again, that's probably largely thanks to the art anyway and not so much the writing.
The side story with Carlo's brother is easier to digest because it's shorter and gets right to the point without unnecessary detours. The extra chapter at the end of the tankoubon is pretty sweet too.

The idea of the manga was good but it was written poorly. Lots of inconsistencies that felt like pages were missing. The second storyline was better in my opinion

Various points of the stories felt incomplete, it feels as if sensei wanted to pursue / expand on multiple plot points but either gave up halfway for all of them or got lazy and decided to skip right to the conclusion. So even though I was able to follow the overarching plot, it was still confusing as heck.

The art was really beautiful though, and I love Gen and his brothers' character designs.

It's an ok read if you don't think too deeply about the plot and just want some good artwork to look at.
