Great start, bad end

The start was interesting and had me pretty hooked. Interesting ideas here and there. But the plot gradually becomes more and more convoluted, its clear the author hadn't planned out the story and was pulling shit out as he went along. Way too much inner monologue from the MC, too much explaining obvious details, too much showing. The ending was rushed to boot.

The ideas are there, well thought out, great background research. But the execution is where it falls a part. The story telling needs work.

And the art, I guess it has its moment, but for the most part, its very bare bones.

Criminally underrated masterpiece

I have read the entire story and I can tell you it's a masterpiece. Everything, from the plot, to the characters, to the day-to-day survival elements, are just crafted with so much loving care that I have rarely ever seen in any fiction. Objectively speaking this story deserves at least a 9/10. Examples:

- Pretty much all of the medical stuff is correct. The tetanus shot being good for 10 years for example, which was a pretty big part of the story.
- Pretty much all of the survival stuff is correct. The technique of SODIS (solar water disinfection) where you can disinfect water kept in clear plastic bottles by keeping them in the Sun for at least 6 hours for example. I didn't know about this stuff before I read the story and even now I think it's pretty cool.

The characters are so well written that they feel like real humans. And the ending is just...so emotional. Urgh. It's so hard to explain why a good story is good. When I see something bad I just point it out. This story has none of the cliches that plague most other garbage manhwa. Main character is smart and focused on surviving and helping people not obsessed with sex or revenge, he displays clear character development over the course of the story as he builds up relationships with other characters, especially Yuri. All leading up to the ending which is one of the most emotional I've ever seen in any story. It's so fucking good. I can't recommend it enough.

Do not listen to those negative reviews from before as this story is an absolute masterpiece, I started reading a little bit skeptical because of the negative comments on reviews (contrary to the actual reviews without comments) but I absolutely loved every second of reading it, and if there is a single flaw in this story it is that it shouldn't have ended.

The beginning was so good and was so interesting. The author built the relationship between characters realistically and everything they did made sense but now? I wished I didn't waste my time on this story because in the end it became another piece of trash story that I am sick of now. Try it if you want but I wished I never wasted my time on this. You can like it if you want but not my cup of tea anymore.

Could be better

I read about 67 chapters for now. I can tell you that this is 'stupid'. The concept is good but the way this is done is bad.
MC can switch between the present and the future when falling asleep. The change he did in the present does affect the future like if he 'trains' in something, in the future he will master it. Bodybuilding, archery,... (when he switch to the future he will instantly master it and when he came back to present he somehow retains his 'experience', too cheaty lol).
MC's goal is to change the past to prevent the apocalypse in the future.
But unfortunately the plot is badly done in my opinion :
For example :
-at the beginning after the 2nd transfer why the medics he hides away in the present disappeared just because in the future he took it?!!
-in the future he meets some zombies and stuffs but in the present he can get easily flustered... (example : c24. Where is gone the experience from the future? did the future him never chatted with any girl in the past 7 years?) and other times he can become unreasonably arrogant..
-Training in the present and master it in the future is a thing but i dislike how he stopped training after only a few days and start to rely on the 'experience' earned from the future...
-It was said that the present him couldn't have his body follow his reaction because it wasn't trained but somehow author forget it later..
-Changing the future will lead to some holes in other characters' memories. Really wtf. They are behaving like 'why i am doing this?'. It really doesn't make sense.

Overall it's okay but there have many plotholes. When reading you will need to overlook them to fully enjoy the reading. Could be better imo.

The author's taking the plot slowly and necessarily, but not dragging.

It's been a while since I read a story about apocalypse. I don't really like apocalyptic story, since usually it's depressing. It involves too many death and huge sacrifices and agony. Like Attack on Titan. Many of them didn't end well, like Evangelion.

This one actually included as those kind of apocalyptic stories. On the recent chapters, the main characters were all murdered. Even on previous chapters, many died and even sold their dignity just to be able to survive. The different thing is, fortunately Hanzin was able to travel in time through dreams. That way, he can change the future. Even though it was as devastating too, since he also couldn't maintain a steady relationship. Every time he woke up, the future changed, even slightly. He even experienced loosing his friends and so on. But this ability brings forth a change factor, and it's good.

This manga was great with mysteries surrounding the revenant, demon hunters, Mystic Hong, and so on. The mysteries have not been revealed from the recent translation, but I can't wait.

I love how the author's taking it slowly (in my opinion) on revealing who the revenant was, or even the background story about Hanzin as a revenant successor. The author's taking it slowly, but nicely. Sometimes there are dragging plot in many kinds of manga/manhwa I've read, but I don't think this one included. Every time Hanzin travel back in time, he invested little by little so everyone in the future are safe. And the step by step process was not dragging, but necessary for the plot development.

The art itself isn't really good/detailed, but the plot is great that I think I can overlook it. I can't wait for the next chapter release.

From good to bad

Starts good, it's a zombie setting with a time travel aspect to it which makes things interesting and rather confusing, it's hard to understand causality at times and what makes or does not make sense since the ability or phenomenon is not explained but rather we get to see how the MC furthers his understanding of it as he himself gains knowledge of it.
There is also all the Demons, Spirits and Revenant aspect to it. At first it was nice since it gave meaning and purpose to the zombie apocalypse but unfortunately and as happens with many mangas, manhwas and manhuas it starts to loose focus and get more and more exaggerated and ridiculous. Also, the changes the MC make start to get so massive that the author has given up all pretense to explain how the changes take place and just dismisses it as a "plot hole" in the causality, which is funny because it's exactly that, a plot hole in the story, in any case I can ignore this part since the readers understanding is all expressed through the MC understanding as I said.
Likewise the MC, Yuri, Heath, Stella and others were interesting characters, unfortunately here too, the author fails to keep a coherent and believable personality, mostly for the MC. The secondary chars change little when the world keeps changing like crazy due to the MC meddling with time and the MC goes from cool to humanitarian to coldhearted to completely idiotic goody-two-shoes with little to no reason. He actually starts acting like an ass in the past when everything is still ok but acts like an idiot in the future where everything has gone to hell and being too good is counterproductive, which makes no sense.
After 130+ chapters this is getting harder to read, which is a real shame since it had been very interesting till ch100 or so. Hope it goes back to how it was but I can't see how it could with all the changes made.
