This manga is only a few chapters so far, but it's quickly becoming a favorite. The male lead is hot and the girl is super cute. So far no one is an annoying shoujo character, and the main girl is cute, not annoying. It's a princess in love with her bodyguard trope manga that's done really well.

I also really like the yakuza theme in shoujo manga and I think this one is done well. This manga is funny, and well paced. It's a very enjoyable read and the romance is cute. If you like (or don't mind) a bigger age gap then I highly recommend!

the age gap is not huge. overall it's a sweet manga.

I am usually pretty tolerant of age gap manga, but this one gives me a major case of ick. The 11 year age difference is one thing, but it's the fact that Keiya has raised the main character since she was 5. (Don't even get me started about how her grandfather decided to charge a 16 year old boy with raising his precious granddaughter, instead of hiring a nanny.) Keiya says he is Isaku's "father, mother, brother, and lover." On the surface, it seems like he loves her, but he monopolizes her. He wants to be everything to her. He does not let other boys her age get close to her. His affection is self serving! This poor girl wants to have authentic high school relationships and Keiya ensures he is the only focus of her life. It's sad! I kept holding out hope that I would see something original or redeeming in the plot, but it was not to be. Mikio, who I thought would be a possible alternative love interest, ended up being despicable. Honestly, just forget the love interests for this one. The ending I would want to see is Isaku having freedom and forming honest relationships, without being stalked/micromanaged by a 26 year old man-child. (Also, I was disturbed that Isaku's grandfather finds out about the relationship between Isaku and Keiya and condones it!)

Practically, the manwhore ML has raised and molded as his likes the mc, he can live his life as usual by sleeping with tons of girls but he limites the mc and interferes when a boy her age gets closer.

i can’t get over the fact that she’s a freshman in Japanese hs (at most 15) and he’s 26.... plus he raised her since she was 5...that’s creepy asf. i usually can’t get past it bc it’s just fiction, but i just can’t get past this age gap bc they continually throw the fact that he’s supposed to be a parent to her in ur face. gross
