Description

Personally, I love the characters. I think the story is so well-written. I love the fact the ML has friends, especially with the opposite sex since it seems like that's impossible these days, and how much he cherishes and respects the FL.
FL, Mei, is drawn out well as well. She may appear to be one-dimensional and "weak" but I think it fits well.

He's willing to go beyond for her, to get hurt even when she forgot about him due to her trauma where he was in it (he didn't do shit but protect her, rest assured), and continues to go beyond. AND MAY I JUST SAY AGAIN THAT HE RESPECTS HER AND ACTS LIKE A DAMN ADULT. He handles things like a grown-up, and I fucking love that. His patience, his understanding nature, yet how he would also have clumsy moments like a boy in love just- I want to erect a statue of him on the smut category beside the few others.

There are people who experienced childhood trauma at an early age that stunts their mental growth, health, and personality-wise. And it doesn't help that she locked herself out of everyone though very much understandable. She overthinks things and becomes afraid to take another step to protect herself from reliving what those fuckers did to her, the constant stares she receives from everyone (which was only briefly mentioned), and after the recent incident and her memories resurfacing, it messes her up even more. The portrayal of her social anxiety and PTSD for me was quite accurate, I was shocked. I love how the author details her thought process and builds up until she gets the panic attack that I'm quite worried if the author is also experiencing that.

And lastly, Chapter 11 is so fucking passionate and hot. Lord, the illustrations and flow are just all I want. I really wish them both happiness.
