Mikoto Inui lives with her rich grandfather. Her parents are dead, so he's all that she has. Her grandfather is worried about what will happen to her when he's not there anymore, so he wants her to attend an omiai [an arranged marriage meeting], while she'd prefer to go live on her own. He pushes her to attend them anyway, but at her next omia, she meets Saruno Itaru, whom she likes right away. They decide to get engaged but... things aren't what they seem to be?

This manga is fairly ordinary. If anything the characters aren't developed very well. I felt like there was a not of back story behind their relationships that just wasn't explained. I got to end and didn't really care about the outcome. I could have lived without this one.
It's a simple plot with a simple out come your usual shoujo, from the description and the length you know what you're getting. It has a nice charm, nice art and gentle humour. Its not overly mushy although if the length had permitted the characters could have had a nice bit of growth. The little twist made it interesting but the finale was all a bit too rushed.
It was a great manga with a good deal of heart warming moments - kinda reminded me of Goong - but with that being said, i disliked the male lead for being a cruel douchebag and also the female lead for being so masochistic. I know it's a shoujo but I get frustrated having to read about a person of the same
