Description
Geumja Kim is the biggest (and only) fan of Kyle du Vilteon, a side character in the fantasy novel King Maker. Her never-ending search for Kyle content is forever changed when she dies while rereading the book… and somehow awakens in Kyle’s bedroom to a new life within the novel’s pages! She is then shocked to learn that Kyle can also hear her thoughts—luckily, only if she thinks of his name. Still, there’s no time for this fangirl to daydream because Kyle is doomed to die. VERY FUNNY STORY. Only read 12 chapters so far, but I hope it stays funny throughout.
I gave this manhwa a lot of chances until ch 79 but I can’t anylonger. No plot & annoying Fl. I regret wasting my time on it
Even if you take your brain out, the main character is beyond dense and nothing is funny. I've read over 60 Isekai manhwa's in the past 2 years and no one has frustrated me as much as this FL. I usually don't rate below 3 even if I drop, but I literally want to bang my head against a wall, so I'm going to have to make an exception. I would give this a 0 if I could, and I cannot fathom that anyone enjoyed this drivel, let alone that it got so many 10s.
Originally she reminded me of my favorite manga character, where the characters is pretty stupid and doesn't get sarcasm or how to read the room.
However this FL has zero self awareness. She is obsessed with only THINKING about the ML. She says she wants to save him, yet she literally goes out of her way to put him in more danger. She continues to spread a false rumor that will put him at risk and also lead to her own death despite REPEATEDLY being told by other characters what will happen if certain bad people hear the rumors.
She comes up with only ONE scheme to help save her precious character because she's too busy thinking of sonnets and odes to his body parts. And yet, with only that single plan, she then stops him from following through with it to have him save someone else without trying to find a solution herself. GIRL, YOU ONLY MADE ONE PLAN AND YOU COULDN'T EVEN BOTHER TO LET HIM TO DO IT?

The only "comedy" aspect in all 50 chapters is that the FL is crossing-dressing and people think that "he" is in relationships with different princes. That's it, that's the whole gag. It's not even funny to begin with. Yet it keeps being reused like it's supposed to be bringing us to stitches with all the misunderstanding of servants rooting for two boys that they think are in love. In addition to this not being funny, the fact that the FL keeps TELLING people that she and the ML are dating is beyond infuriating. The first time, it was because she couldn't think of a better explanation off the top of her head and it was somebody she could trust to keep it a secret. But then she just goes and tells the same lie to ML's main rival (who was the original protagonist) for literally no reason other than to brag....EVEN THOUGH IT'S A LIE! I wanted to rip my hair out with the stupidity that wasn't even for the laughs.
Additionally, she keeps saying she wants to help the ML but the only plan she had was to get him to discover the rare metal. Yet, rather than finding a way to help the 5th prince when he gets poisoned, she complains how useless she feels as a mere stable boy and then calls the ML back from his trip to find the mineral to save the prince. The only thing she bothered to plan to prevent the ML from dying again, and she stops him before he can do anything. Maybe she should spend even a fraction of the time that she spends thinking of odes to the ML's appearance and lying that she is in a boy love romance with the ML on creating some way to actually save the ML.
Additionally, she keeps saying she wants to help the ML but the only plan she had was to get him to discover the rare metal. It had a LOT of potential in the first ~5 chapters, even if mc was creepy. Her design and how she was introduced with the dynamic of the characters was good enough to keep me interested, even if some dialogue decisions by the author annoyed me from the start. But it went downhill after that.
mc should've just become a maid or knight. I expected them to give her a job as a maid after some time, but no, 70+ chapters of horse stable boy.
It makes no fucking sense for the prince to come visit a hut in the fucking woods of some random servant boy, even with the telepathy. ESPECIALLY because of rumors AND her literally not being able to help in any way except in the last moment through forced luck and plot by the author. She can't even get near the ml and HAS to wait for his whims to visit her while she slaves away without any way to help him as a horse stall boy.
Though the thing that infuriates me the most is that she cut her hair. She had SUCH a good design. Instead of asking the prince for a favor before deciding to crossdress or winning the prince's interest by telling him she can see the future, she decides to go to a position where she absolutely can't help the prince.
