Shion is a young man working for the Onmyou Organization under false pretenses. He is attempting to avenge the destruction of his nation and the deaths of his family members, and targets the Empress in an attempt to destroy her homeland. However, their destinies are in fact entwined, as she not only dislikes destruction, but wishes to unite all of Japan peacefully.

This is a great manga and I really enjoyed it. I wish there was more. 
It has a really really excellent plot... how can shonen jump reject it? WTH?

Anyway, you will know that the manga when continued/developed can be a potential rival of bleach and other excellent mangas out there. I just really wished it was continued... and the conclusion was rather disappointing.. and how ironic that it says "will continue" at the end.. when actually it won't. >.>

decent action, good art. plot and storyline nothing but cliches, but decent nonetheless. it would have been nice if it had continued a bit longer, but one must really be nothing but a FOOL to think yabuki will restart it after nearly a decade. it stopped because it was dropped/rejected by shonen jump, the biggest manga mag available. not exactly very much incentive to restart, considering the quality of today's manga in comparison and that yabuki is already in the middle of a project.
nonetheless, another volume or two wouldn't have hurt...

I really want this series to continue, i mean they ended it with too many questions and not a very good conclusion. Hopefully YABUKI Kentaro will eventually come back to this series and finish it, theres just sooo much more that could happen and we never did figure out this "mysterious past" of Iyo's. Now that i think about it I do believe that YABUKI Kentaro will come back to complete this series one day.
Really solid series by the Black Cat mangaka. Pity it got cancelled after 2 volumes, what's there was enjoyable enough.
Wish this manga would continue. So much left unanswered in just 2 volumes. It was a nice manga to read. It was a good introduction to what could be a very good manga
