Sean is a shoemaker who has a fetish. He likes his partner to wear the shoes he makes while they have sex but maybe his partner has a fetish of his own. While helping Roy move, Sean finds a suspicious pair of women's shoes and can't stop wondering who they belong to... an old lover? A dead wife?
6) Tiempos extra (Extra Time)
Oscar is an idiotic football fan whose younger brother plays for Spain's national team. A brawl breaks out when someone badmouths his younger brother and he ends up slugging a security guard, landing him on television. After the whole thing, Oscar sees a guy who looks an awful lot like the guard in a bar and it seems he wants to get even for the punch.

It's passionate. Not youthful passion that burns out of control and make your heart race like you've ran fifty miles, but a mature flame of passion that smoulders beneath the surface that makes your heart full to the brim before you even realize it. These tales are warmth to the soul, it comforts, it surrounds you in a cocoon of gentleness that is no less passionate that any other love but compared to the ferocious and passionate thunderstorm, it's like the gentle April showers you get on an afternoon.
This is good stuff

This is a really nice piece of work, even for one coming from Est Em-sensei. I'll never get tired of her way of telling stories, not to mention her overwhelmingly intriguing characters and their colourful lives (even when they're not always dramatic). And this is definitely not the first time I've been awed by her wide range of knowledge of numerous expertise and cultures around the world. Her mangas in general are written for a certain audience, but that doesn't mean they can't be enjoyed by readers outside of the demographic targeted, which I think makes sensei even more brilliant as a mangaka and more exceptional as an artist.
Btw, when Oscar (in chapter 6) was expressing grief over how Spain had never won the Cup, I was thinking in my head something like 'if only you would wait until 2012', hehe.

I'm surprised that this yaoi gets so few reviews! The manga was awarded the best yaoi in 2008 by some reviewers, and I do agree with them!
The plot is certainly atypical, and so are the characters. The protagonists have flaws, they make mistakes, they are humans after all. They are not bad, neither are they good.
Her stories are realistic, even more realistic than Miyamoto Kano: there is no happily ever after. Falling in love doesn't mean living with each other for life. Her stories sometimes remind me of basso, though I prefer est em over basso.
The art is different from those bishounen in usual shounen ai and yaoi. For the characters, est em draws lean, statuesque men who are sexy both on paper and in real life. Don't get me wrong, est em's art is a far cry from bara's.
Conclusion: do read this manga and other stories written by est em, especially if you're getting tired from all those cliches in BL stories

Est Em is one of those mangaka that just has so much talent, and passion for writing beautiful, melancholic and mature stories! She has a brilliant sense of story telling, paneling and pacing; her art style is lovely - she is great at anatomy and keeps her men handsome while giving it a mix of realism and art... she often draws older men too, men with beards and such - something a lot of yaoi mangaka fail to do right.
This is a great manga and probably one of my favorite from her! Not many mangaka write about other countries... Est Em does it all! Stories that take place in Spain, England, France, even Russia...
She has done her research as it really feels realistic with the whole setting and the words she uses... plus the (official) translations on her works are very spot on and keep the native language's flair!
I loved this manga, it's got emotion, likable characters and steamy smut scenes! The only regret is that it's too short and I'd love it if it where several volumes long, going more into detail.
I'd recommend this to everyone.
Read this if you are looking for a beautifully written and drawn manga that is more than the average yaoi manga of just guy meets guy equals smut!

When I read BL manga, I enjoy getting a good story out of it more than anything, rather than primarily reading just reading it for the hot and steamy sexy scenes. I mean, don't get me wrong, there were intimate moments in each of the stories in this manga, but that wasn't really the focal point at all.
Compared to most yaoi series I've read, I found the stories in this novel to be more unique what with having matadors and all--oh and not to mention the fact that most of the stories were set in Spain (one of them was in France). For some reason Spain + BL just go together perfectly.
I suppose another thing that separates this from the others is the way it's presented. The art is different and more realistic, which is nice, and also the way it's written. You just kind of feel this connection to the characters even though the stories (aside from the main one) are much shorter.
I definitely recommend this manga to anyone who likes good BL! hehe.

It's not that sexy or passionate, it's 'different'.. Gives you a feeling of something mature. Kind of maturity, that leads even straight men to read something about homo ^-^. I can't say, I enjoyed it very much, but I simply can't give it less rating). I was really impressed by art or even by storyboard and focusing. And the story is woven nicely into it (or vice versa ^-^).
It seems it's the author's style with all her manga...

The first story is sooooo sexy. I liked them all, though.
Initially I wasn't thrilled about the art, but after getting into the story the art became more and more beautiful. It's unique and it represents the story very well. I like also the fact that both men are manly, which I find sexy beyond belief.
Also, about the art...it's smutty without being too explicit.
