Description
This manga consists of oneshots that are loosely connected with each other.
Chapters 1 and 3 focus on the new relationship between Shiba, a high-school student, and his teacher Onosaka. Things are not going well -- sensei has an inferiority complex because Shiba likes large-breasted girls.
Chapters 2 and 4 are about Inuo (a friend of Shiba's, who's quite the player with girls) and Natsuda, a boy with whom he finds himself in a love hotel the morning after a wild party. Inuo would just like to forget everything because he's definitely not gay, but Natsuda wants to be his friend so badly that ... More...

Chap 1 and 3 are fine, I guess. It's just that the seme kinda bullies the uke that eventually crosses the line.
Story 2 HAD potential. The story started in chapter 2 anf it was realllyyyy good. However in Chap 4, it was annoying me in the later part when they had sex. I was reallyyyyy annoyed when the seme started to laugh at the uke for walking so weirdly. Like who tf's fault was that? He even skipped school bc of it. He could've been more gentle with the uke after sex, but noooo. He'd rather laugh his butt off bc the uke walks weirdly. Eugh.
Chap 5 was...no comment. I feel like a shotacon if I comment on a kid's lovelife lol.
Chap 6 was idk. I just got sooooo bored (and turned off) that I didn't bother finishing it.
Overall, the manga was eh. I guess it was okay. Some of the uke just looks quite pitiful somehow. And I honestly felt no love from the seme (except in Chap 2, and only in chap 2)

I remember my first time coming across this manga a few years ago, and it was an absolutely horrid experience, causing me to ignore the author like the plague in a long time. Now that I've had my fair share of BL after years spent on it, I gotta say the manga's actually more tolerable than my first impression, though that's not saying much to be honest. The stories are still the same formula, with typical seme-uke dynamics and characterisations, eg in both the first story and last one-shot, the seme's a douche and the uke's hopelessly pathetic, which is never a good device yet sadly overused a lot of the times. The artwork is also so-so, it's neat and clean, but not very expressive or pretty enough for my taste. I guess the chibis and the humour are the only saving points for me.

I read it cause it's from the same mangaka as Otona Keikenchi, which I loved.
but this wasn't good at all. especially the first story about a student and teacher, but I guess every manga where the teacher is uke is going to be bad. I didn't like him at all. he was so childish, the second couple was better but not great. and it was just too fast. so if you are reading yaoi just for H scenes, you can go for it. but don't wait a story.

Haha, everyone in this series is either gay or a woman. That's so cliché. But putting that aside, this is still a good yaoi story. The plot is (not surprisingly) not really that substantial - but the art and the hotness is in good shape, so this is above average in my opinion.

I really enjoyed this one..as with most of this manga ka's work. Over all it was good read but not one of my fave. (as in I won't be re-reading it anytime soon). It was cute and funny reading. I really liked the art work too. Over all I would still recamend this to Yaoi fans to read.

Trite but good for a one time read and has really good art.

Tsuyogari was one of the first Yaoi series I'd ever read and because of that, I will always speak kindly of it. The stories are cute and the characters are interesting. There were only a few things I found disappointing about it though. First of all, it was a little underdeveloped. Secondly, the characters were a little shallow. But most of all, I found it annoying to have the Seme and Uke roles so obvious in character and style.
That being said, I still love Tsuyogari. Chapter Five is my favourite of the volume, probably because it is innocent and the characters aren't so heavily stereotyped.

Christ Natsuda is cute! Even the outfits he wears.

Inuo and Natsuda are though, the way Inuo shifts from being sure he isn't gay, to being confused, to realizing he is in love is really quite adorable, and Natsuda's willingness to try to just be friends to get closer is so sweet. The last part about the kids was cute too, it really drove across how hurt the other boy felt. I think it's kind of funny that every one in this series is gay though.
