A True Slice of Life

To me, this is the way life is. People around you do things for their own reasons, and you often don't have a clue why. And emotions are usually hidden, except (especially in Japan) around people you have lots of reason to trust.

This is avowedly an actual memory of the mangaka's. He couldn't tell what was going on with the girl and the woman because he was just a boy then. Now that he's a man drawing the story he can guess, but he's not telling us what he guessed. I found the mystery intriguing. If you think about the story carefully, I bet you can solve it too. Hint, Noda is one of the keys.

I don't read very many slice of life mangas because it just doesn't appeal to me to me reading about someone else's life when im trying to forget about my own and engulf myself in a story... that being said, I have no idea what i just read lol... I know slice of life have no main plots but this seemed to be the slice of life to... slice of life... nothing happen felt like it was ended before it even began
