oh great proves once again that despite his above-average drawing skills, he completely lacks the ability to develop a coherent and interesting plot, or develop enjoyable characters. i guess good art is counts for something though, since apparently his stuff is selling well enough that he hasn't bothered to team up with a storywriter. fighting scenes are drawn decently, though after a while, flashy poses just aren't all that impressive anymore.

Deva is completely bang on. Oogure Ito should go the way of Obata Takeshi. His art is incredible, but he's never been the author of any of the series he's worked on. He's always been the artist, following the script given to him.

It's a shame really.

Big sidestorys... 'bout 2-4 vol. like jumpin' back in history.. kinda sucks..
after vol. 12 it starts getting complicated and ya gotta read ya ass off like you do in Death Note.

Its painful at times to get through this manga. The story jumps around like a mad man. The art is nicely done, but with a plot that has no pace its utterly meaningless.

The first 3 volumes are tough to get through and probably turn away many potential readers. After volume 3 things get more interesting and start becoming more understandable, there's still a small problem with pacing through.

decent manga but the pace quite slow and i hate every characters in this manga except for Souichiro, and the Natsume sisters, Bunshichi is alright too

I started reading this series because I liked the sex and violence. But, halfway through, it started recounting japanese history and the story becomes a convoluted blob of nonsense. I couldn't even make heads or tails of what was happening or why.

Art looks amazing i envy him much, the storyline is pretty confusing but still good. All that sexsual torture and anatomical cuts are a bit too much for me. As a fan of OhGreat! i say it's a great manga. Still Air Gear is much more better than Tenjou Tenge! (This is only my opinion)

oh! this one is "great".. I really love the artwork, never mind all the naked bodies. It acutally had some unexpected turns happening PLUS the main characters get beaten up like all the other ones and actually loose as well. (which for me is a sign that its a good manga because i hate it when they just keep on winning and winning, it just gets booring)
good ingredients for the story- some mythology, revenge, supernatural abilities, fights, history, genealogy, romance and "dark secrets from the past".
I just find it amazing that they got up to vol. 18 and the reader still doesn t know of everything that s going on, so theres still potential for the plot to grow.

all his works are rather bad
i guess that comes from him being mainly a hentai mangaka
everything feels shallow and everything is meant to look cool and flashy
if not for the boobs and H he would not have sold a singel issue of anything he have worked on

I don't get it, so many ppl are saying the art is so great for this. It's really not. The main looks stupid and I'd rate this manga's art under average tbh. I don't know what everyone is seeing. The mangaka certain does have the capacity to draw well as he shows in other mangas, but his is clearly not the best of his work in artwork.

That is all I wanted to say.
