Consensual, Sweet and Vanilla Romance Yaoi

The story telling of this one was well played: it had alternating perspectives where the reader had an inside glimpse to the thoughts of both lead characters. The transitions were smooth and easy to follow, adding up to enhance the emotional connection.

The scanlation was--only at times--lacking professionalism, but the story and art still shines through beautifully.

Well this is quite a nice cute read. The art is clean, plot is average, and the seme is one of my favourite kinds; sexy, sweet, and passionate. My favourite thing about this manga though was how it changed the POV every chapter, which is something i love even though it's rarely done.
A decent read :]

Average, but still good for a reread

It was a little different from the typical boss/subordinate relationship. The secretary takes his job really seriously and seems to be uptight at times, while the director appear to be too carefree about his duties.
Except that the boss isn't really like that, because it is just a façade.
Spoiler (mouse over to view)
He doesn't rely more than he has to on his employee, he knows how to handle his tasks and is quite professional when dealing with serious matters, and last but not least, he doesn't sexually harass his secretary. No, he only teases him while trying to pick him up but never goes too far.
At a moment in the story, he does heavy flirting with his subordinate, when the two of them are both working late. He caresses the latter in a very sexy way, and so of course the secretary goes like "what are you doing?", because he's actually really feeling it, and the director answer something really stupid, I don't remember what. The secretary is mad for sure, but the morning after, the boss does apologize about his barely tolerable attitude, he also explains why he acted that way. I must say that it was really something to me, a boss seme who isn't a jerk or an immature fellow for a change

The director was a good character, more semes like him would be wonderful in the BL world. He was cool and not forceful. Now, even if the secretary was nothing more than the usual over-dedicated to his position, he was good too because no matter how their relationship develop, he did remain the same, more or less. Indeed, he was perfectly fitting the uke role without being too cliché.

The thing I didn't like was the ending, I didn't have the feeling that it was over, something was clearly lacking to me, so I wouldn't mind if these two were to have a sequel.

The setting was nothing unique or unusual. The art was okay and the characters likable. It was slow paced and shown a bit of what both were thinking. So why did i like it?? Coz they were so cute together!! i wish there was more about them being lovers coz that would be soooo enjoyable!!~ there was only one short sex scene, kinda sad xD but it was cute, not too deep, funny.

I have read this before but decided to read it again from start to finish today and enjoyed it very much!
I don't find it to be average because for me average is not good enough and this yaoi does exceed just being okay. I do love office romances and sweet semessmile Also I loved the way Nabeshima looked at Saito. He was sexywink
