Description
Sayoko is an incredibly kind, but solitary, young kimono-clad lady who has certain supernatural abilities. She can see ghosts, and she frees them from their places of death by agreeing to let them haunt her instead. As a result, everywhere she goes, she is followed by an army of well-meaning spirits that only she can see. Her weirdness tends to throw any normal people who would have otherwise possibly become her friends.
Inaba is a poor college student who happens to accidentally run over Sayoko with his bicycle.

More bittersweet irony than true creepyness

What makes this story fun, IMO, is that the heroine is so sheltered (can't normally have friends other than dead ppl) and so in love that she is very awkward and thus she keeps making very understandable mistakes.
For sure, she should not be ghost-spying on Inaba, but given the ability to do so and 100%-for-sure get away with it, how many people would resist? And what makes it even funnier, of course, is that all such shenanigans usually turn against her in the end, as indeed using underhanded ways is hardly ever beneficial in real life.
But overall, the heroine does strike me as a nice person, deep-down. She never thinks to try to take advantage of people, unlike others, who on the other hand might know how to hook a guy smoothly and thus act and look better much of the time...
I also think the romance challenge is far more interesting than usual: this girl has so many innocent disadvantages (no matter how earnest her effort) that you can honestly cheer for her, especially since her chances do not look so good, in spite of her good looks and kind disposition.

You can't really take this manga seriously. If you do, I think you'll be incredibly freaked out. It starts out semi-normal (for a supernatural manga anyway), but it quickly progresses into this weird stalker-possessive story whose heroine I just can't support. I understand that she's kind. But she's seriously going about it the wrong way…. though that might just be because she's stupid. If she just confessed directly and got to know him in a normal way, we could have a supernatural comedy instead of what I see as a undercover horror story for our MC.
Let's just say she takes to have the spirits watch (yes, that's right, WATCH him) every day. She therefore can stalk him and appear in random places (and bless his heart, he only thinks it's a little strange, as opposed to obsessively creepy---he's obviously dense). She also unintentionally wreaks misfortune on his life, but either doesn't realize the effect (an idiot) or refuses to allow him any means of protecting himself (an obsessive psycho).
What really pushed me over the edge was in the latest (scanned, I would never bother trying to track down raws for this manga) chapter, when Inaba-kun found a way to protect him from spying spirits (i.e. they could not enter his place as they pleased), she not only found out but destroyed the way he could protect himself from spiritual stalking. <---- This is creepy. And the result of this is that she limited her spiritual stalking to once a week.
You have got to be *****ing me.
I think I know why this is set toward a male demographic though… because she's cute, all the creepiness is somehow excused. I don't really find stalking funny in anyway at all as an expression of love…. especially when it has such a huge negative effect on his life. I get that he's the first real friend she's able to have. But shouldn't you treat your friends kindly…?
In sum, this manga is definitely borderline creepy.

Overall, this manga is pretty good. It has a new refreshing plot. Didn't expect alot of things to happen the way they did.
Definitely recommended if you're looking for something light and new!

lol, very interesting! It's hard to tell how the story is going to pan out but to summarise from the first few chapters? A girl develops a crush on a college guy but with a a catch. She is possessed by hundreds of spirits that are well-intentioned in their motives regarding her own welfare. It's very interesting in that most manga I have come across featuring some sort of ghost possession are usually pure evil (the ghosts look evil, for starters!). Not only are the ghosts kind towards Sayoko, they actively encourage her to pursue her crush!
haha, not much to say from the first few chapters, but it looks like this is going to turn out to be a very interesting one.

I love it. Although it is much too early to give a serious review, if you think the summary looked interesting, well then, you'd be right. If you didn't, read it anyway!
Will give a rating later when theres more to rate it on.
