This is very good manga. It never went as I thought it would go, it was always better than I could imagine. I don't know why so many people didn't like it, maybe people who don't like romantic drama should not even bother reading such mangas, because this one is one of the best IMO.

odd story hah? but there is some melting parts in there,
i love the seen where she calls him up just checking or randomly wondering what he was doing
and hes on the other line going "SEX!"
its actually pretty good, read IF U have a free time, but not a manga i would read again or anything.
thats it for the good side of it
i get the feeling shes a bitch, i hated how she keeps having sex with her manager and yet says she loves the main guy. I just find that part off, purely ridiculous.....

It was funny and intresting in the first few volumes, but its been down hill since she started getting sexually pushed towards other guys.

This manga is no different than 100% perfect girl.

Sensual Phrase is a far cry from this crap. It has better cliche drama.

This manga is pretty poor. I really dislike the heroine, she may be slightly stronger than others but I'd prefer a different heroine, who seems more in keeping with Shinjo's traditional "blushing virgin" stereotype.
You can't mix the two characters together - it doesn't work. She has to go one way or the other.

Some of Shinjo's works are okay - I don't mind a little bit of it now and again, in small doses. Kaikan Phrase was rather sweet. But man, I've completely lost interest in this story...

Shinjo completely oversimplifies show business - the idea that anyone good looking and wealthy can get into politics and become prime minister is utterly ridiculous. Either she is partially retarded, or she doesn't give a damn about her blatant made-up fairytale land.

This manga is awful.

The story is really interesting and it's so cute and funny. I can't stop laughing. XD

this manga-artist's work usually is around smut, heavy smut. with the dark bad boy and the small pure doe girl. this time its different. waaaaaay different. in the good way. goooo!!

I really would have preferred if there was less sex in this series...but then again that's what makes up this story. Otherwise, like the other romantic stuff, and I could really tell Gin cares for Kirara by the end.

The female lead is too pathetic and gullible and so easy to rape.. while the male lead is a conceited sadist with ambitions of world domination. Megalomania, someone?..
Too many forceful sex scenes, in my opinion, but I guess that is just Shinjo Mayu for you.
Attempted rape, rape, rape yet again, rape.
I still read it out of thinking that I should give it a chance, but I broke around the 4th volume and just kept reading superficially.

Look, after readin Haou Airen, i wasn't sure if i cud trust SHINJO again with another of her mangas (also read Sensual Phrase which was probably the one with a little less sex than Love Celeb since it had music in it too & Love Strip -- useless, no good for sex education manga that makes those swoon if your looking for geeky-sex girls and horny jocks).

When i read Haou Airen, i was like, "Oh what a surprise, sex on the first chapter although its not finished,"
Then "Oh, rape by random guys looking at her private parts, fabulous,"
With marfia gangs and sex addicts, it was terrible although yea yea, the romance was something unusual but pretty strong and i did cry when the damn guy got killd before his wedding, i mean i'd be a freakn heartless chick if i didn't.

LOVE Celeb is something that you shud expect has sex, sex for fame, sexual abuse from OWN manager, sex bought from diamonds and oh, did i mention sex?

What im saing is there are some people who like this manga nad i respect your taste in smut, i prefer some smut as a regular intake in my manga too, but there are some mangas which are so unrealistic, with so much sex, i sometimes even wonder how this thing gets through the first 20 percent of ratings.
Look, i accpet that they labelled this as SMUT and i knew from the beginning that there will be some sort of sexual intercourse but give me a break, some of SHINJO's works are becoming disgusting and so unbelievable that i can't stick to read the finals of Sensual Phrase (although im having a feeling its gonna end soon becoz im past where he is marrying her).


Anyway read this manga if you want because i guess things depend on what people like in their mangas, but im just saying, it wasn't terrific so i giv it a very generous 5.
