I like it

To be honest, I'm never a fan of cliche manga. But I really enjoyed reading this, who cares if the girl is just simply dense?! It's shoujo afterall. I like how the girl isn't so big-headed, we all can obviously see the boy just simply loves her. But as you all know, when you like someone, you obviously don't believe they'll feel the same way back because you're so blinded by your own feelings, you don't notice what the other party feels. The guy may be perfect, but who cares? It's a shoujo manga, and shoujo manga are usually directed at girls around 12 and up. Everyone dreams of a perfect guy, so you can't blame him for being so perfect. So maybe the girl is dense as a nut, it's kind of fun to read about her because you can sympathize with her and there are actually girls who are like her. Now, I don't think the boy is very much developed, but I still don't mind reading it.

I guess who ever has a bunch of time on their hands can pick this up. But I seriously don't recommend this to people who don't want to waste their time. Because this is the typical shoujo manga you read about, and not a lot of people like stuff like this. The art is nice, I like it which is partly the reason why I read it.

And for those of you who want stronger heroines, go read Shounen.

SPOILERS!!!!!!!!! Possibly
generally just read shoujo romance manga for the cute stories so I don't think my expectations are too high, but this one was a complete disappointment. There is zero character development in this series. The two main characters start out liking each other at the beginning of the series so you don't even get to see the romance develop and what follows is just volume after volume of the girl trying to work up the nerve to confess and failing (despite the fact that it is blatently obvious that the guy likes her). The guy, on the other hand, is unrealistically perfect in every aspect except for his personality, which is about as interesting as watching paint dry. Naturally there are girls fawning over him all the time (this is shoujo manga, after all), but he never shows any interest in them because he is in love with the main character. Note that it is never explained why he is in love with the main character, or what he sees in her, but it's pretty friggin obvious that he is. At any rate, the girl can't confess because she is neurotic and has a huge inferiority complex, but why doesn't he just make a move? I'll tell you why: Because this manga would be about 9 volumes shorter if he did.

I think this manga is sweet. I forgive the main character because she's a child. If the story was set in high school or college, I would be disgusted. But given the main character's age, I can accept it a lot more. I think it's wonderfully written and despite the childish responses and silly actions, I don't think it's so over the top it should be classified as "terrible." It's definitely not the best shoujo I've ever read, but I'm going to continue reading it because of its sweet nature and art.

Hmm, I think she is crying too much; runs away much. All these things she does towards Minami-kun, (in vol.2 somewhere) How can you forget something like that!. It could be that Miyuu-chan is gonna end up with Amano-kun.

I disagree with the ones who say this is just a typical shoujo or whatsoever. In fact, this one's very realistic. Of course things like this don't happen to many people, but they do happen and it's portrayed pretty nicely - or at least, from the first volume (I haven't read it all yet, but I assume it's going to be similar in throughout the other volumes?) But anyways, this manga is lovely - the love that is portrayed in this story is innocent and sweet, the best kind. Also - the girl isn't dense, it's just plain denial - wouldn't you be when you find out somebody you've been in love with seems to be in love with you too? And also, the guy was portrayed well - it's from the heroine's point of view after all, and that's what high school crushes are like - very idealistic without really getting to know them. The romance portrayed in this manga is in fact very real, and likely are made up of situations the mangaka has experienced before and therefore was able to sort of retell them - unlike many other shoujo stories with icky "passionate romances" that I despise.

Edit: Okay - so I've read quite a bit of this now and I absolutely love this manga. It makes me feel so happy reading this. I'm glad I picked this up and of course, I love StarryHeaven for scanlating this.

This manga, when I first read it, I thought it was really cute. But then, the main character girl started getting on my nerves. It's a really old-fashioned manga, but it has it's cute points. The only reason I'm giving it a 10 is because it was the first manga I ever read to have really wanted to know more about. XD

I can't believe it! I just can't believe it that i READ this manga!!
This manga have typical of shoujo manga that VERY far from type of manga that i like! I didn't say this manga is bad or terrible, it just, the main girl character is so crybaby and that's very annoying. But the main boy character is have a good character but have a bad side too. But the VERY ANNOYING character is the Older Brother of the main boy character. He IS annoying! (ノ `Д´)ノ I almost stop read this manga just because of him. And the story is ALMOST terrible IF the conflict of this manga is not over and began to beat around the bush.
Okay, i just hope this manga will get a happy ending and the conflict will end without a long-winded. #Pray

PS:I'm not going to give rating for this manga yet until this manga is finished! smile (i mean after i see the ending)

I think this manga was all right. It was extremely chiched but a fun read. It's nothing that will change your life but as a lighthearted story it was okay. Nothing about the art is fantastic, but it's not bad either. I think that's a really good way to describe the whole series. Not fantastic, but not bad. A definite 7. I kind of want to slap Miyuu up the head and tell her to get a bit more confidence, but hey, she's only in middle school.

ok at first I pegged this manga as alright on the verge of becoming bad. but now as I picked it up and read the latest chapter I found the main character as being EXTREMELY annoying. I don't mean regular "you irritate me" annoying I mean "GAWD DANGIT GTF AWAY FROM ME" kind of annoying. She's dense, tries to act tough, "shy", cry baby, TOO WEAK and typical spoiled girl. Minami the main leading guy is... mmmm... alright-ish but as soon as he goes out with the heroine he starts becoming the un-lovable type of guy.

If you're bored on the verge of exploding, read it. otherwise... stay away.
