These stories have so many things that make them uncomfortable to read and are offensive af...

Teach me how to be patient
This is the only story I find semi-passable. There is a solid plot and even though it is rushed, it ends nicely. Sure, there is attempted rape at the beginning, but it doesn't lead to any sort of relationship with the abusers. The art is nice and the characters have some personality at least.

The first two stories, on the other hand, are... quite worrying.

Our Destiny
There are soo many things wrong with it but lets start with the plot and the characters.
We are given a small introduction and the premise is actually quite interesting, but as there is no further explanation, it becomes kind of useless. The same story could have happened everywhere and at every time and it would still make no difference plotwise.
The characters are bland and have no interesting features. They dont even interact much.
But now onto the worrying bit:
The blatant homophobia and the normalization of rape.
The other crewmates refer to the main guys as "homos", not directly being rude, but calling them different and behaving as if they would never be able to properly understand them. I understand that this manga was written at a different time, but seriously? This doesn't make it right!
Whats even worse though, is the rape that doesnt even properly gets acknowledged. They even call it rape but nobody finds it bad because it was indeed rape, but because they are weirded out as it happened between two guys. And whats even worse: The guy who got raped wants more sex and they suddenly think about a petition to make same sex relationships legal? Hell a few panels ago, the victim didnt even know homosexuality was a thing.

Moonlight Hunter:
I guess it's not AS bad as the previous one, but it normalizes incest? The main two guys are siblings, twins even and the story goes that they were supposed to be one person. As they unite their bodies they kiss and during the story they even tell each other that they are in love if i remember correctly. This doesn't get acknowledged either though. Does the author think everyone is going to be ok with incest, as long as they are homosexual? Did they really think this was so normal, nobody would think twice about it? Being gay doesn't mean you fall or are attracted to every guy thats out there u know.
I wouldve been fine with incest, i mean i even like some incest stories, but thats because they dont ignore the fact that this is very very wrong on a moral level... or that it is at least frowned upon.

As a conclusion... If ur ok with this stuff... damn there is something very wrong with you... or u think its alright bc its fiction. Thats not ok either tho just saying.
In my opinion, only "Teach me how to be patient" is worth reading (and even then it is not great)

First and Second Story: Artful and Interesting Plots

Moonlight Hunter
A very unusual fantasy story. I like the concept of the two must become one. It was too quickly and minimally done to have a deep connection, but I found it curious all the same. The clichéd 90s style art, reminiscent of To-y or early the early Ai no Kusabi novel art was delightful!

Our Destiny
This one was suppose to be funny, but ended up being sour to me because the uke was so robot-like. The deadpan serious nature backfired, making him very unlikeable and not worth championing. He was unmoved by major emotional happenings.

Teach Me How to be Patient
Again, the art carried the story! The transformation of the bird to man was amazingly done, right down to the detail of his wing tips become fingertips. The story was a bit whiny and over simplified, but the art! If you are a fan of genre 90s art manga with all that hair and long, skinny limbs with angular, narrow eyes and simple mouths and sharp noses, this is it!
