ALL of the characters from the first arc come back.. If you waited like, what, two chapters? You would be able to understand, if you simply read it. All of the stories are VERY connected, and not that far from each other. Just read it all and you will understand.

Its by no means an amazing manga, but it is MUCH MUCH better then anything below a five. Although you might be confused, I highly suggest to just keep reading as everything becomes clearer and clearer.. aslong as you pay attention.

It's tagged as seinen, which may be the reason, but I did not understand this at all. Maybe it's because I was reading this chapter by chapter, and so the small things that add to the larger picture were lost on me, but I just found it weird. It starts in Greenland and then goes to some completely different place with no(?) explaination? Excuse me if I get lost.
There was no explaination about the sacred beasts, the characters from the first "arc" were dumped and never seen again, the main character who didn't show up for the first fifteen(?) chapters did some rather suspicious planet hopping...it all contributed to a story I just didn't understand. Maybe I'm missing something, but I'm not going to bother to re-read this to try and find some understanding.

this story seems to go somewhere in the beggining. u get a nice short story than it goes off into a tangent and u read a few smaller stories but it doesnt tell u that so ur like wth just happened.

Well, first 40 or so chapters didn't give much sense. We get vague idea who's our hero and that there was war. Who won, who lost. But nothing certain.
But with chapter 41 and then 42, seems like we getting more into story and background. Which really surprised me! So I hope it will keep getting more and more interesting.

The current description really only covers some of the chapters. The real description should be "the continuing adventures of the dude that goes from place to place, kinda of...sort of." The art is ok, these short stories are ok-ish but so far there is no sense that the story is heading anywhere. So after 41 chapters it feels a bit aimless and not much in character development. Its not awful, I've certainly read worse web comics but right now it doesn't really inspire me to stick with it.

Nothing ground breaking really but an enjoyable read nonetheless. Has some things to keep you hooked and a relatively good pace. By the speed of which the pages flew by it's pretty good.
