From Tokyopop:
From a small lake nestled in a secluded forest far from the edge of town something strange emerged one day: Three young girls. The three girls, Shem, Hamu and Japheth, are sisters from another world. Equipped with magical powers, they are charged with saving all the creatures of Earth from becoming extinct. However, there is someone or something sinister trying to stop them. While saving our world from destruction, these sisters live like normal human girls: They go to school, work at a flower shop, hang around with friends and even fall in love...

I love the surrealism the author portrays in this manga. Her art is, no doubt, extremely beautiful and eye-catching. I especially love how PARK is so creative, even going as far as revealing the animals' inner spirit. However, despite all of these, this manga wasn't my favorite out of all her works. I was so used of her Tarot Cafe having a balance of humor and human darkness that I wasn't used to this work, where it was all humor humor humor and...little girls. Overall, it's very light-hearted and I would still recommended to anyone who are into beautiful art and animals. smile

I love how this manga reminds readers about the importance of nature or being 'eco friendly'.
The art is awesome too. The story has so much potential but the...ending!! Gaaah!!!!

i enjoyed this but...so many questions were left unanswered... why is she forced to live as a guy? who is that girl commanding the "bad guys?" i just wish the author had extended the series by one more book to wrap it up

I'm not sure what rating to give this one. Here's why:

Pros:
- Sang-Sun Park's artwork. It's always excellent, no matter what she's drawing.
- Really cute concept of animals that look like humans to the girls.
- Great message to the work, about caring for the Earth and its animals.

Cons:
- The art is nowhere near as impressive as the art in Tarot Cafe.
- Story seems to drag in parts. I kept thinking, "Get on the Ark already, moron."
- The Ending. I can't stress this NEARLY enough.

Bottom Line... The art is nice, even if it's not as nice as I would've hoped for from Sang-Sun Park. The story-telling, however... is terrible. Cute concept, some good ideas... but the ending totally killed whatever this story had going for it. There were a few "mysteries" brought up throughout the series, a few potential romances... and... NOTHING ever came of them. The series just ended without resolving these things - and even odder, a NEW story development was revealed in the final chapter that could've made the whole story a bit more intriguing... if the story didn't END a few pages later! Seriously. What was Sang-Sun Park thinking? The ONLY excuse for this shoddy ending would be if the series was canceled by Tokyopop. Does anyone know if that was the case?

I thought it was pretty good. ^^ I was shocked about the end, but it was nice. I didn't want it to end yet, though.
I liked the plot how they saved endangered species, I think everyone should read this manhwa, for the animals' sake. (just to make people understand how important it is to protect the animals that are in danger)
I'll give this a 9 for the great plot and the art, althought I wanted some more romance. biggrin
