At least these are the things that go through editor Kobayakawa's head when he sees his celebrity charge, that and the one where K sensei sent three editors to the hospital?! Yet, while taking photos for a magazine interview and watching K sensei work with such professional focus Kobayakawa realizes that the outrageous rumors may be just that. That is until Kaji pushes him down on the sofa to "reward" him. Thus begins the hunt of the herbivore editor and his carnivore author.

...in the sense of 'Yama nashi, ochi nashi, imi nashi'. I'd even go so far as to say that there's no beginning (unless I'm missing something?). From the first chapter it's 'I want you' and 'Say that you love me', and there's no reason for that at all. It just happens. And because of that - because of absence of reason, - the protagonists are very unrelatable. I don't feel anything for them, don't care about their struggles or about their sexual acts. So it's very very bland - the plot is non-existent and sex is... meh. I don't see any reason whatsoever to read this.

Edit after merging of volumes
Compared to volume 1, the second volume of this series consists of almost the same things happening again. Basically, the 'plot progression' and characters 'development' are just the way they were, with a few alterations to 'spice things up' a little bit and please fangirls. I guess at least there's more smut to ogle.
Btw, is it just me, or is this mangaka's artwork becoming more and more similar to that of Sakuraga Mei? Not that they're overwhelmingly alike, but for a few instances I thought the hairstyles of some of the former's characters looked very similar to those of the latter.

I found myself wanting more of the YamaTana comedy sidestory. It's never explained how he got that small, but I can't say I've ever read any BL mangas that reminded me of The Incredible Shrinking Woman or Honey I Shrunk the Kids. The valentines photoshoot, velcro doll clothes, & slipper bed were a hoot. Thankfully she included a short YamaTana in each volume rather than making it a one-time gag.
Volume 3's side story "Love Killed the Cat" ended awkwardly, but had good love triangle or threesome potential if the author made a full book on it.
As for the main couple, I'd say Furachi na Junai was the best plotwise. Since the author writes like it's one long doujinshi, you kind of have to interlrate the plot. I would have to disagree with Yzma's assessment of the lack of love. As I see it, according to the short backstory on volume 3, they were mutually attracted to eachother from their very first meeting. Midori seems to have no real relationship experience, coupled with possibly never thinking of having a relationship with a man seriously before, let alone celebrity who is supposedly a heterosexual womanizer, & lastly wanting to msintain a professional relationship between author & editor, thus he struggles with his feelings. Kaji on the other hand seems to notice Midori's attraction to him immediately, as Midori is terrible at hiding things & wears his feelings like a mask that only he can't see himself, which is why Midori's coworkers & parents all pick up on the blossoming romance right away.
On ths critical side, the uke might as well be a chick, because he is about as masculine as Tinkerbell movie, dare I say he's basically your typical stupid, clumsy, easily impressed Otome. & after months of dating, they're still on a last-name basis.
There are many flaws in the writing though, & some things just pop up without ever being addressed, like how they don't get any backstory until volume 3, or Kajj being referred to as a foreigner despite having a Japanese name; it's literally never brought up before Midori's mom mentioned it in volume 3 that Kaji is supposed to be caucasian.

There were some good points. I loved the Uke, I loved the side story about YamaTana, and Seme was a sexy author. There were bad points. Seme was an emotionless, egotistical jerk that thought the Uke should just automatically love him and got mad when the Uke ran from his overly aggressive advances, making the Uke a bad guy. (I freaking loathe that trope)
But, I Liked it. I just don’t think it’s one I will read again. I really with the side story had its own volume. It made it worth reading this predictable drawn out manga.

Predictable in a bad way.

All of the manga basically consist of seme-sensei harassing and f*cking unsuccessfully resisting uke and demanding of him to confess his love. While never once voicing out his own feelings(aside from lust), or even showing them somehow through actions. For most part there's no love, just pointless drama. It's so shallow and boring, and not that well drawn, I can't get why it's so big. 3 volumes of rather dull sex scenes.
