Agreed. Very good. 9/10

So yeah, I agree with the other reviewer. It's very good, and so far (28 ch) hands down the hardest chapter to read was the first. For those of you who might be hesitating at the 'piece of shit MC', be aware that it's very different than say Overgeared. He's not an egotistical scumbag, or a total waste of space. He's just... broken and envious. But he gets over it REAL quick. His core personality is clearly better than what's shown, he's driven there by circumstance (could be a commentary on real life tbh lol).

But anyways, very soon he's joined by the deuteragonist, who is the red-haired dude behind him in the picture. The buddy cop commentary and reactions between them is hilarious. Great characters, and I really like all the side characters even discounting the main two. The series has a great blend of action, BAMFness, intrigue, character growth, drama, comedy, and mystery. I'm about to go off and find the novel to read, but I'm very impressed with this manwha version regardless. Give it a shot. Definitely recommended.

Edited note: So the later arcs, specifically the martial arts world arc (floor 22 or something?) elevates this to a 10/10 for me. Absolutely some of the best stuff I've ever read. I actually read it in the webnovel first, and it's finally been translated in the webcomic. Go forth and enjoy~

Worth reading for the first 15 chapters alone

The first arc is handled so unexpectedly well it is actually mad that it's in the genre. It genuinely made me cry. The expressions of the MC in chapter 15 alone are heartbreaking, and perfectly drawn. I honestly think that most writers in the genre would write the MC as the Flame Emporer guy from the first timeline, just brute forcing along and getting stronger along the way. So far each arc ending has subverted the usual power fantasy tropes, and gone a different route, which is greatly appreciated.
I'm looking forward to the development of some characters, but so far the MC and the people immediatley around him are interesting and fun to read.

All i can say that it is a very pleasant surprise. Our MC is not super smart but not a total idiot. Extremly greedy but still mentains a moral compass. I quite like how it started, took me by surprise. Do try it.

the MC start as piece of shit' and yet there is lot of growing up, in time he become a really interesting MC. warning be ready! or dud is pretty much crazy, functional' But CRAZY and I love him for that. (up to date on the light novel, in later chapters his growth as a person is depicted and there are a lot feels be ready.

I've read enough fiction to not be bothered by plot armor. 32 chapters into a 200+ series and we all know our protag ain't about to die. That said, SSS-Class Suicide Hunter takes it to another level. The main character's signature skill rewinds time 24 hours before his death; it has no cooldown, no restrictions, a laughable penalty, and zero long-term consequences. He constantly uses it to redo events, often rewinding days at a time, and purposefully died a 1,000 deaths for a particular floor's outcome.

Hard to say

Premise is interesting but has proven troublesome for a long term plot. Death without any true consequence makes it hard for a thrilling adventure to be thrilling.

edit: as of chapter 114, I'm downgrading this from a 6/10 to a 1/10

really feels like a self-insert / author self jerk fantasy

A fine adaptation of the novel

The art is stellar, the designs, the pacing and the execution of the events are dramatic and fills you with tension.

It's a series that manage to make you care about the characters, and this adaptation has done a good job so far.

Since I've read really far in the novel I have some qualms with it. The novel itself would be a 8/10, but for this adaptation it would be a 9/10.

By far the best tower climb manhwa, easily surpassing all and the original solo leveling.

A very likeable MC, one of the self-sacrifical, silent hero types. High degree of empathy, and a very easy cry at many points for those with weaker tear ducts like myself. Not lacking in intelligence, but he has persistence in spades

A beautiful story that balances action, emotion, and comedy, and art that steps it up to incredible levels when it suits the moment, yet keeping it pleasantly easy on the eyes when in the less intense moments.

Something worth noting is that the nature of the plot puts mc into different genres of story, like a martial realm manhua, a shoujo romance, etc. And with how well written and well drawn this manhwa is, they go beyond the level of a typical setting that merely parodies a genre, instead adopting its themes into the story, yet still preserving the core character ideals and plot. And it's done masterfully, with clear care and attention paid to each genre, at times satirizing, at other times embracing, yet fluid and artful even as it combines the two with the main plot. Also, it's not necessary to be familiar with a genre to enjoy this story's depictions of them, but there are minor details spread throughout that those more familiar with martial realms, for instance, will appreciate.

Only 2 mangas/manhwa have ever made me immediately bookmark the novel to read: This and bakemonogatari.
