Seriously, this gotta be one of the most stupid shoujo mangas I've ever read. It's typical out of the typical shoujos. The storyline is too common. The 'prince' of the school and the girl is an idiot desperate to experience love as if her whole world is revolving around it. Wanting to fall in love is not a bad thing, to do stupid things that sometimes almost trample on your dignity.. At first, I thought this is gonna be a promising one since the girl had the guts to confront the guy for rejecting her friend. I thought she's gonna be one strong female character, but in the end, she's just like any other girls. :/ And there's this part that the girl says 'I want to kiss him so that I can make him happy because I love him'. <- WTF. And then she goes reading 'Advises on kissing' magazines. I really find that embarrassing and really stupid. She is also assuming in the first chapters. :/ And during the part that they were caught living together by their father, the girl insists on continuing living like that as if it's a normal thing to do. The things that happens on this manga can only exists in dreams of people in real life. LOL.

This kind of story reminds me of love 'pocketbooks' that can be purchased here in our country. Maybe a part of the reason of my dislike in this manga.

Actually, before I started to read this, I just finished Tonari no Kaibutsu-kun. At first, the latter didn't impress me much. But after reading this L-DK, I realized how Tonari has much more sense and realism that I'm unable to appreciate before. LOL.

Well, for those who wants to start reading shoujos, or those who're waiting for their favorite mangas' new releases, and if you have nothing to do, it may be recommended but I suggest that you find others more worth reading. It's more like for people who has such fantasies in love. That's all.

around volume 6 the main character goes extremely weak. I would even say annoying and clingy. i don'tknow how the series can be dragged for over 15 volumes...in volume 10 the main character, if possible, gets WEAKER...one actually appreciates the guy mor and more and how straight forward the guy seems to be...of course who knows, but that's my current opinion as of vol 10

i dont know why i kept reading this manga. the first chapter seems okay to read.
then aoi falls for shuusei and she started to irritating me with her desperate act to shuusei.
shuusei has no value to be likeable.
he's totally a JERK.
he treats aoi badly, and the girl just act like it's natural, nothing wrong bout it. aoi has no self-esteem. if love makes people become a fool, then aoi is a good example. i kept saying in my mind, get over it, you moron. but aoi always doing one stupidity to another stupidity.
Oh, and i hate the situations that make them closer. so NOT logical.

the stories bored me til the end. none

Very, VERY cliche. I can't believe this one is rated 8.4. Wow.
The only thing I like about it is the art. The art is pretty, I suppose. Probably the only thing that kept me reading it.
But it's got ALL those shoujo cliches. The main bishie being good at everything, popular, hot, every girl wants him, girls will do anything to get him, but the guy doesn't care about girls until he finds the girl who's the "odd one out". The best friend likes him as well. Ugh.
At first I liked it, because it seemed that her friendship with Moe was a deep one, and the main girl showed a lot of her strong character in the first chapter (or rather, the first few pages). But as it went on, my hopes pretty much fell. The girl lost all of her character as she "fell" for the guy, and everything else just became another one of those vomit inducing, cliched shoujo mangas. And why in the world did she fall for him? I still have no idea. -_-

There are some cute and endearing moments..
But I'm quickly turned off by the shoujo cliches that keeps appearing in this manga..
Cliches are not bad... but its poorly executed by the author..
It's also weird how new characters just suddenly show up and the next minute they are out of the picture... The author doesn't put emphasis in character build up for them...
To be honest I can't even remember their name anymore...
I also don't like how the girl is easily manipulated or lead by other people...

I just don't know...
It's a normal shoujo that I don't have great attachment or passion for it...
I'm looking for a good plot in a manga and I'm not easily swayed by handsome male lead anymore...

Seriously, the main man should crawl into a hole and die. I think that she should take Sanjou-san and tell the mr. Sob Story to go bury himself behind the apartments, because he is getting on my nerves. Aoi does not deserve the nuisance that he has created.

this is a novelty in the shoujo world because, instead of the usual hating on the female lead, all the hatred it focused on the jerk of a male lead.
This is one of the first times ever in my 6 years of reading manga, that the girl has gotten so much fan support and the lead male is getting flamed. its a nice change.

Cuz honestly, it's just... nuthin' special. The premise is good, but the execution? Specifically, how the cliches are executed and played out (& believe me, there are A LOT of cliches) will either make you scream with delight, or react apathetically. IMO, having subpar expectations of this manga will be the wise choice. It honestly ain't nothing special. But at least the art is really pleasing to the eye!

Edit: Oh Mah Good Lawd... this one is just plain STOOPID... Just got done reading chpt. 13... I don't even know... I enc. anyone to skip this. Seriously. Or go get high or drunk or sumthin & jack off instead of reading this. I believe you'll thank me later for this suggestion (just like your mama used to say) biggrin

At the first few chapters I really liked this manga, it had a interesting plot and seemed nice but now having read up till chapter 35, I feel like dropping this manga because its losing its plot and it seems boring and also cause half of the stuff that happens since the new glasses boy moves in the whole story becomes depressing and annoying, but I hope things change in the next new chapters :/
