I agree with comment that say it looks like a normal shoujo manga but it isn't. Cos the development of the chara is very nice and their relationship is very nice. I mean a lot of shoujo manga has a very fast love progress that makes you say WHAT? haha this one is good to read and makes my emo work through when read it

The point is that the series isn't dramatic or its characters have terrible pasts makes me like it so much. It just a story about a particular couple and things that can happen to anyone of us. The heroic Haruna isn't beautiful at all while Yoh, even he looks and acts cool, he is so inexperience and such a shy boy. I love it because it's "original".

Plain

The problem with this manga is that the story is too plain. None of the characters have any significant flaws or problematic history. Nothing exciting happens that will grab your interest and cause you to care about what happens next. There's just nothing that makes it stand out from other romance stories.

There's also a lot of room for improvement. The pacing is fast and the characters don't really have well-developed backgrounds. At times, absurd events are forced into the story to create some tension (like when Haruna suddenly can't talk to Yoh). As for the artwork, 80% of the backgrounds are simple "wallpapers" of lines, stars, or bubbles.

I really like this manga. I really love Haruna, she's really cute and I just really love her, she's strong and she's a very well thought-out character. My heart just aches for Haruna in the latest chapters (ch.40+). I love all the side characters especially Asaoka-kun, usually I root for the main char to end up with at least a side char, but in this one... I just don't care who she ends up with, she deserves em all. My heart aches for Asaoka in certain chapters (I'm so sad, I feel sympathy for a manga character).

This manga is seriously entertaining, I can't help but laugh.

i don't really like Haurna's personality......she's too embarassing and over reacting all the time which is very annoying.........
it's funny how the guy can stand her........
i continue because of Yoh.........sigh........so nice
i think he should find a better girl

Finally....i survive through the end...
Like Yoh said...."Grow Up" really ends the taste to the end....!

I kinda wish that Hauruna will change at least a bit in the end...but no no no...same old...sigh

i really don't get y ppl ar so obsessed over it
it's too plain in my point of view
i wanna finish it just for the sake since i started it

The number one reason why this manga is still at the top of my reading list is that the lead girl, Haruna, is a very well-thought out character. She's so amusing and entertaining that even if the other characters had the personality of a flea (which they don't), I wouldn't give a damn and would still keep on reading this. The story isn't dull, because it actually develops as time passes by, which a good thing in any manga. The love story doesn't just pop up out of nowhere, which is something you don't see in every manga (it's much like the way Itazura na Kiss developed, with character differences).

All in all, this is one of the few rare times that I don't have something bad to say about the manga. And this is proof of how good this manga really is.

I am SO into this manga! It's so funny, exciting, and heart-warming~ I love all the romance stunts in here. Yoh is so cute when he is embarassed. I just have to keep cheering for them no matter what happens.
The beginning of the manga shows the obstacles Haruna goes through to become more woman-like. Then, as the story progresses, it shows Haruna and Yoh's love life and the (funny and awkward) struggles Haruna (and Yoh) have to do. hehehe. I am so pumped up whenever I read this manga!! So romantic~~
Anyway, I strongly recommend this manga for someone who is in for the laugh and superb romances!

Honestly, I don't think this is a typical shoujo manga as others might see it. If anything, it's somewhat more shoujo+josei. If you change the ages of the characters and make them college students, I think the story would still carry on a similar way, granted all of the characters would probably have part-time jobs as well.

If anything, the story's getting more interesting, and it's coming to a close soon. Oh man, these latest chapters are pretty sad. :/ Haruna, ganbatte!

BTW - I'm pretty picky when it comes to shoujo manga, but this one has got me waiting for each chapter. :]
