It lacks of something but i like it!!!!!!!!!!!!! I love these kind of stories, so cliché but sexy! It's pretty different from her other mangas but still it's worth the read!!! Honestly, i prefer the simple ones than the complicated ones 'cause i read to scape from my dull reality and having fun. And luckily they finished it scanlating!!!!!!! Yay! i thought i'd never know the ending, Thanxs Dangerous Pleasure <3

The story's rather cliched and the characters fall flat. Too much unnecessary angst, immature unlikable people and dramatic illogical decisions being made. However, as the artwork's pretty and it's easy to follow the plot - or what little there is of it - it's good for a 15 minute read with happy ending attached.

Ah, they need more facial expressions! If anyone is to show resist then at least furrow their eyebrows D:

That being said, besides the fact that everyone lacks expressions everything was to my liking. I like that despite all these predictable sayings, the uke has this one wrapped around his finger from the beginning. And that they both thought they could read minds. It was super adorable to me and a reason why I'll rate it ten, because I thoroughly enjoyed it. It's refreshing to not read a surprising manga once in a while.

Plus, the ending was adorable! How do you hate that?

it's really simple.. i wish there were more like this! THIS is a yaoi worth reading!, really an excelent peace of work, in art, story, a breath of fresh air to the normal "uke clingy king of yaoi"
Spoiler (mouse over to view)
i like that he runs away instead of turning into a clingy uke, and just begging 4 affection, i really like this history cause it really reflects "if u love something let it go..." kind of thing, even tough i didn't like it before ¬¬' , this manga made me loooove this proberb!!, cause "...and if it goes back to you, it was yours from the beginning"
n yep he was his from the beginning.. awww loved it!

"It lets itself be read" as the French saying goes. The art is pretty, as usual, the first chapters showed some promise, but then the story revealed itself to be the same boring, cliché crap you read everywhere, with not an ounce of originality to detract from it.
If you've read Minase Masara's other works, then you know what to expect.

She writes fun stories that are very easy to the eye. Aishuu is one of them. Yes, it might be predictable but what is so horrible about that....what kind of surprise are you looking for anyway? At least you can always expect a happy ending from her and I like that about her. I come to sensei when I want something simple and with beautiful art.

Every relationship has problems. Haneji Kaoru and Aragaki Jin have their own issues but we see it opened up and laid on the table for us. I thought it was pretty good and hope for them to change for the better to be with each other. Jin has been a jerk, but that does not mean he will be a jerk to Kaoru his whole life. They do care for each other and hopefully they will find happiness.

So cliche

I actually don't understand why there's such a high rating for this manga and the amount of people who gave it 10/10. The story itself is clichéd and predictable that there's already 1000 yaoi mangas out there that have similar sort of characters and storyline. Do people actual find these sort of storylines romantic? Do they consider this as real love between two people where one person goes around sleeping with the whole world whilst the other pines over them and in the end the first arsehole realises he's in love with the other guy afterall? These characters have no respect for themselves and each other.
With that being said, I do like Minase Masara's works, her art is quite clean and pretty. even though I don't quite like these type of stories where the Seme is a cheating jerk who flaunts it in front of the uke, i will continue to read it lol.

My kind of plot!

I can't rate it higher because it was really too predictable right from the start.
But even so, that's just the kind of story I love aaaand of course, since it's Minase-sensei we're talking about, the art is astonishing.
Plus...I don't know if I'm just being over protective of my favorite mangaka (Kawai Touko), but the story here is EXACTLY LIKE Kawai-sensei's "Overdose" (even the seme-gets-sick part)...and "Overdose" is better. So, if you liked this, go read it!
Even so, I love the jerk seme and angsty uke combination, specially since Kaoru is much less of an idiot that I was expecting! He's actually quite strong for someone in that situation. Also, what I like especially about Aishuu is that Aragaki has no idea what he feels. That's uncommon. In this kind of plot line, the semes usually cheat and push the ukes around because they are jerks or are as insecure as the ukes. But in this case, Aragaki really doesn't know. That's interesting!

I liked it, so I recommend it, anyways.

Despite popular opinion I don't think Masara Minase has had any work that has been great since her debut manga. This is no exception. Bland, boring and completely predictable sums up this story pretty nicely. If you've read one manga by her you've read them all. It's almost as if she went through a check list of things she had to do from chapter to chapter in order to end it in a big dramatic moment each chapter. But it's hard to look forward to the resolution when you can see the end coming a million miles away.

I sense no emotion between the two characters. I'm not sure why these two are friends, let alone lovers. The characters aren't developed as people so it's very hard to understand their motivation. That leaves all the misunderstandings and heartache basically pointless.

It's a decent read, but nothing that hasn't been done (and better) a million times. Her art is nice, but honestly I find it kind of soulless and with no character. The lack of screentones, backgrounds or even hair color is also very off putting. The characters are nicely drawn, but it's so sterile and almost too clean.
