Description
From Yen Press:

From on high, the gods make sport of the mortals who toil below them. None know the cruelty of these beings better than Ganymede, a beautiful prince who was torn away from his family by the gods’ divine hands. Granted immortality, Ganymede now whiles away his days in an inescapable miniature garden for the amusement of the gods, particularly Apollo. But the gods themselves are no strangers to the boredom of eternal life, and as Ganymede quickly discovers, they will do anything to keep themselves entertained, both at his expense and at one another’s…

Quite boring. I love Greek Mythology, but the characters did not hold any interest and the story did not went anywhere. It was just philosophical dialogue.

The artwork was a little weird... Most of the male characters looked like girls. But overall pretty.

I read this manga a while back, but the story and art are still engraved in my mind.
Aki is definitely one of my favorite mangakas, her artwork just draws you in like nothing else. The story is beautiful and intriguing - the characters are realistic, the things they say provoke deep thinking (it hurt my brain a bit).

The ending may seem bizarre at first, but once you look at it carefully, it'd probably be what you did as well.

It's really a short series that is so out-of-the-ordinary, i really don't have much to say other than you have to read it yourself to find out!

Different and strange...

This manga is so interesting, it’s different and strange (in a good way), neat and very thought provoking. It’s a great short read (well it would be short if you didn’t have to read the dialogue over and over again as you think over what the characters had just said) that I recommend.

Art- Excellent artwork that I found absolutely stunning. However the character designs could have been better, the male characters looked like girls, and I had to keep on reminding myself that they were guys and not girls, which got a bit annoying.

Plot- It was strange at first, I wasn’t sure who we were following, what the point of the plot was and I was slightly confused. It ended up we were following Apollo. And that was all we did, just follow him around; there was really no point in the plot. There were many interesting dialog between the characters, ones that made you think, I found myself reading it over and over again thinking over what the characters said, and I enjoyed that the manga made me think. Looking back if the manga hadn’t made me think so much it would have been completely boring as many of these thought provoking conversations not only make you think but spur on some great scenes in the story.

Characters- The characters were great, unique and interesting, there were great moments between them and I soon became attached to the characters and cared about their fates.

Other- The ending may be a bit dissatisfying to some, it was for me at first, it was abrupt and a cliffhanger. But then as I thought it over the ending fit the manga so well I actually ended up liking how it ended. It was a bit of a cliffhanger, leaving us pretty much where we started with the manga, but it fit in with the immortality of the gods, the story will go on and on, so having a bit of a cliffhanger fit the story and its characters. This manga is supposed to be about the Greek gods, but it’s so very different from the classic stories that it provided a new take and new twists on the gods, adding to the uniqueness of this story. I very much recommend this manga for those interested.

8/10 –Was good

The story telling doesn't have much pull. I have a hard time following it. Although the art style the character design is quite bad: guys looks very girly to the degree that I have to constantly reminding me that they are guys.

Never did I expect I'd actually find a story about Ganymede to be so boring. Of course I will continue reading this and will change my rating if it gets better. But right now, it's just chapters and chapters of pointless nothing with uninteresting characters (the Artemis for example made me sad). Though I must admit, the art is quite lovely and there is the occasional good dialogue scattered about.

I really do hope the story gets better. But things never look too bright when the mangaka herself actually admits to not caring or reading much about her source material :/

Beautiful art. Quite interesting plot. I haven't read much of Olimpos, but, I believe that this manga will be better than Utahime. AND, Utahime is actually a really good one XD. You can understand what I mean now, right wink ?
