It's really boring and it doesn't have any interesting action. I give it 6 for the nice drawings and main characters (Train and Sven)

It may be quite the typical manga, but at the same time, its unique aspects create an addicting story. I love the characters, the plot development, and the fights. Finish scanlating it!

the joy of Black Cat...

when I started reading it I was amused enough to keep reading and even look for more during the lulls between releases of what I was really hooked on at the time. as I read more I became more and more impressed; sure it has clichés in it, but it manages to have them and STILL kept me wanting more. considering it's gotten to the point a lot of manga is full of clichés and much of it doesn't keep me interested enough to go ganking scanlations from almost half a dozen scanlation groups to keep up with the latest chapters that says a lot. (I guess after the decades manga has been in existance it's bound to suffer from clichés a bit and if you want to make sure you're not going to get them you'd have to go back to early manga before those clichés were common)

Eve was much more interesting

This is the first manga I have read that they main character was not nearly as interesting as the side characters. Eve was by far the most interesting person in the manga, and got way too little time in the series. Not the worst manga by far, but could have been much better.

Great art, good storyline, kinda predictable but thats okay. I loved each of the characters and the scenes were drawn magnificently, They make all the characters very cool and unique and super powering without making them seem completely immortal. Definetly a must read i enjoyed this very much, as Zeidrich said there are some cheesy morals but don't let that bother you. Highly recommended.

If someone rates this title giving 10 than how would he/she rate Berserk/Bleach/ Detective Conan/20-th Century Boys/Monster/Death Note/Gantz (which are better in my opinion)? This manga is entertaining and I enjoyed reading it but the plot is only decent and I had the feeling "I saw that somewhere" if you know what I mean. For me it's on the same level as Naruto - there is nothing new in here but it's served well and in right amounts. In short - worth reading.

Average but well-made

If you're looking for something particularly innovative, this isn't it. The plot is more or less average shounen, although it gets to the point quite quickly and doesn't bother with suspense much, most obvious secrets are revealed fairly early on. Flashbacks are used liberaly, but they're tasteful and don't particularly interfere with the story. Definitly nothing new in terms of plot or character development.
The art is superb, there's nothing to to complain there (very crisp, clean lines, beautiful character designs).
It's basically a new look at a fairly average set up. The author has a particular style of story telling which involves going back and forth in time in short bursts and using flashbacks to further explain himself later: sometimes confusing but ulitmately well-written.
The characters themselves are entertaining, not particularly deep but still well constructed.

If anything, the plot is a mix of Cowboy Bebop-type "episodes" with a central villain coming in occasionally. There's a resemblance to RK's Kenshin, but Train (the main character) is hardly as philosophical or as conceited, and his naivete is not annoying. He's more like Trigun's Vash, without the emotional bagage...

Over all it's a fun manga. Nothing particularly to remember it by, but it manages to compile some of the best elements of other mangas into a very, very nice package. If you like shounen and you like pretty boys/girls, just read it and enjoy.

First series I picked up by Yabuki Kentaro, I was impressed with the art, storyline, character development, and progression. I am still waiting for a sequel, so I can see more badass train and Eve. However, I think that is a bit of a stretch.....PLEASE COME BACK.

What surprised me the most is that there's no ecchi stuff in this manga.
All the heroes are not perverts, unlike most of manga today biggrin. It was ended abruptly though, many characters were not used. Hope to have a sequel
