Description
Tatsuyuki is the reluctant young master of a Yakuza group. He would rather spend his days playing around than learning the ropes of his family's dubious business. When his caretaker sends him off to a branch office in Fukuoka, the recently heartbroken Tatsuyuki finds himself in a weirder situation than he would have ever expected.

If you don't really care about the plot in a yaoi and you're looking for one with steamy hot h-scenes, then this is the one to read. Personally, I didn't enjoy reading it because the mangaka wanted to include a couple of 100%-non-consensual, dark rape scenes but she did that in a way that the story didn't make sense after that and the ending was off and thus we go back to what I said at the beginning: the h-scenes were hot and varying but there's not really a story to be told in this one...
ok...

I'm also a fan of
I like the premise and wish the mangaka would have spanned the story out to another volume, rather than packing it all into just one. I really liked the characters (especially the leading couple, who're the type I tend to enjoy most) and their chemistry. I agree with uke-lele that there was a "hanger"-like ending, especially with the plot of the main antagonist (I really want to see what Tatsuyuki's dad look like ^^"). But I was satisfied enough with the overall of the manga.
Although, I certainly wouldn't mind seeing more of these guys in sensei's later works. XD

role reversals
and agree that the plot could have been drawn out to really get the effect it was set to achieve. But for what it's worth, I think the mangaka was able to make an impact regardless, because what really got me to fall for this was that one page:Spoiler (mouse over to view)
With all the background story of both characters, seeing Tatsuyuki be affected by his abuse, but in the span of a breath, find strength to overcome his pain for the sake of Nozomi, who suffered from similar abuse in the past, was just awe-inspiring.

Another great find that I'm really happy I get to read and finish it. I was intrigued by the art at first, since it deviates a lot from the mangas I usually read. But I wasn't expecting it to be really beautiful! The smexy scenes are literally panty-dropping hot, and Tatsuyuki's appearance really grew on me, I love him so, so much now.
The story, I like it too but
Definitely worth it. Definitely recommended. >:3

The story, I like it too but
Spoiler (mouse over to view)
the sex-torture part with Rogi (BURN YOU D*MNED B*ST*RD!) almost broke my heart. It would've been nice if the main guys did it, 'cause then, they would've done it with affection, like in what they did in the last chap.
regardless, it added to the allure of the story itself. I just wished they could have continued it since there's so much promise for the 2 protagonists and they could do a lot more with the story itself. Nonetheless it was really a very great read. Felt all-fluffy and warm inside after finishing it.(´ڡ`)Definitely worth it. Definitely recommended. >:3

Nice art. Nice sex scenes. The characters are all kinda stupid at some point but loveable.
Though it started with non-con, the following plot was pretty good. You can feel that the main couple love it other - that's what I need when reading BL. But to be honest, the plot was weak regarding the perverted old man incident. In the middle of that arc I kinda got confused. If Tatsuyuki could do that in the end why not did that from the beginning so he wouldn't have to endure all that torture
Anyway it was a good read. I've liked Scarlet Beriko since her "Minori no Te", and this book pleased me just fine. I also love the way she named her characters. They all sound nice.

First got interested in this because it was featured on "Kono BL ga Yabai" at #5 on the list - and that it was above the legendary Saezuru Tori wa Habatakanai (#7) and only one position below the exquisite Hana wa Saku ka (#4). Surely its position said something about its quality? My prayers were answered when I found it scanlated just three days ago. Where do we begin...
Porn is porn at the end of the day, no matter how much you fluff it up. And its goal is to please the viewer, whether stirring up voyeuristic pleasures or getting the reader to identify with the characters. With that in mind, the art is great. One of the things I liked about this manga was that everyone looked distinctive, even the side characters. Tatsuyuki has those "cat eyes" that (coincidentally) adds to his feline-like appeal. And when he dons on a suit, god bless my fujoshi life. I never want to return to my normal world of heteros. Nozomi is notable for his innocent uke appearance (also a plot device, it seems)... creating a pretty powerful effect when you juxtapose it with his manipulative edge.
There is humour. The humour is enjoyable. It feels so good to be reading a light-hearted sex comedy after tons of angst (I'm looking at you, Yuuutsu na Asa!!!) in forbidden relationships and all. The characters have unique personalities from the beginning and they complement each other fantastically. The chemistry is sizzling, as some other readers commented. MmmMMMmmmM like a hot sausage barbeque festival.
Story-wise it was rather weak - not good enough to be compared to the likes of some others on the list. With so much time devoted to smexy scenes, there's not many pages left each chapter for exposition and y'know, character development. I remember feeling quite confused because at one point I lost track of what the characters' motivations were. There is no clear resolution to the future of the protags either.... which leaves the premise unresolved. There's this mild discomfort - that "hanging" feeling that doesn't go away - after finishing Yondaime.
Like I mentioned, it is porn, after all. But it's not too bad. Nonetheless, the list was compiled based on readers' votes more than plot quality, so it might be inaccurate to review it based on the story. It does say something about the manga's popularity, though - I'll give Scarlet Beriko that.
Recommended.
