It's sad. It's smexy and it's sad in its smexiness.

And the vision was terrifying, at least for this uninitiated one.

That being said, read it. It's light and somewhat hopeful, and sad.

i've just read the recently released chapters, and the art is unique, and i like it. it's definitely for the more mature audience, concerning the words used not the sex mind you wink

i'm looking forward to the rest of this C:

It was alright...

It was good enough for a one time read, though I doubt I'll re-read it anytime soon. The art wasn't really to my liking. I didn't hate it, but I didn't particularly like it, either. I found the story interesting enough to warrant continuing to read it... but I wasn't moved at all by it. I find that most yaoi that tries to be "gritty" or realistic doesn't appeal to me much. It would be one thing if it was about gay men in a realistic world... but this is about men in an unrealistic world where women don't seem to exist and every man is gay. That scenario is okay for the usual yaoi - the cute and funny ones. I just can't gain any "real world value" in a manga that tries to present it in such a skewed and unrealistic world. So for a yaoi story, it was alright. It just fails (in my opinion) in its attempt to be any deeper than that.

I'm not used to this kind of, would it even be "Yaoi" (the penises and men are so beefy and veiny that this book could easily be categorized as a gay/bara manga)

I mean, the story is emotionally moving and all but the face that it shows graphically depicted hetero as well... I mean, I don't know what to think. The art itself was really rough too.

My friend had me read this so... I did. I didn't want to continue reading. The imagery is a real turn-off. But I have never been a fan of Dokuro Jaryuu so. I suppose my opinion doesn't completely mean much.
