Loved it.

I actually finished reading this a few weeks ago, after having put it on hold for a year. At first I was only reading it because I was experimenting with historically based mangas (I still haven't grown into them --"), but grew on me after a few chapters.

Usagi is annoying. I won't deny that. Annoying as HECK. But she's one of those annoying characters that you have to like. Kind of like Light, in Death Note (not at all. I love to hate him, and hate to love him). She doesn't mature much emotionally, over the series, but I think she does grow up a little after
Spoiler (mouse over to view)
Ranmaru takes her hostage along with her friend. I actually quite liked Ranmaru, even with all his obsessiveness, and pitied him after she tied him up and left him like that. Not that I ever approved of the RanmaruxUsagi ship. I just thought that if she'd looked at things objectively, she could have ended up with him. Then I could have had Hanzo. If not, and if Ranmaru hadn't died, I would have taken him for myself :P

Hanzo (the main guy, not the playboy) was brilliant. But sometimes he was so stubborn I was just screaming at my netbook; " HANZOO YOU IIDIIOOOOOOOTTT!!".
And I loved his long hair <3

I'd recommend this to anyone looking for an interesting plot and good looking guys. If you want a loveable female protagonist, or a smart one at that, look elsewhere.

Not Really Great But Not Really Horrible

After countless chapters of Usagi's less than admirable actions, she finally begins to show some character development. But to me it wasn't enough to make up for her past behavior.

Other than Usagi's personality and the way the other characters acted toward her the only other glaring problem I had was the ending. It was kinda jumbled up and I got lost in the twists and turns. I wouldn't say this manga was a waste of my time but I wouldn't necessarily recommend it to others.

Normally if the heroine annoys me, but the story is good I manage to continue/like the manga. Usagi is a true exception, I have never been more irritated by a shoujo protagonist before. I didn't find her to possess any sort of charm at all. Her being a clutz and spaz annoyed me. I could only take two volumes before I felt like taking ibuprofen.

The male lead was a typical shoujo prince.

Only reccomended if you can handle stupid protagonists.

As a response to the people saying that Usagi doesn't change, toughen up OR mature; then you didn't read far enough.

I agree that she starts out a completely stupid and irritating child, but that just makes the personal growth more appreciated. Even though Usagi is completely worthless throughout 2/3 of the manga, her growth finally begins in volume 12. For me, it was worth chopping through the first 11 volumes (though they were tiring at times), because I absolutely LOVED Usagi in the last 4 volumes.

I just can't stand her. I have to agree with slykid. (I'm surprised I even managed to make it this far) At first, I didn't mind that she was a good-for-nothing crybaby who lazes around, because I was expecting her to become more mature and toughen up as the time goes by but she's stays the same!! Sure, she's good at healing, but shouldn't she be more responsible? She causes so much trouble for others, yet she doesn't change for the better.

The art is better than I expected. There's bishies, comedy and possible plot, but the lack of character development in the series is a major turn off for me.

I'm gonna make this simple the girl is a stupid useless excuse for a humanbeing , all she does is eat sleep, cry and relie on her female dogs , the girl acted like a complete idiot. . . .I feel sorry for her childhood friend having to carry the retard on his back for 2 years and the outcome is her . . Im actuAlly apualed over the fact that people can't say how they really feel about this , I mean if you look at every comment you will see that there bad but are but in a nice way whyy do that ?? ... I really want to express my anger but I can't becuz of the no swearing policy !! But I just think this manga sucked I really didn't like the summery but read it cuz of the reviews but after the skipping and finally getting chapter 42 I quit and skipped to the end and ...I'm happy I didn't continue . Anyway I love this so if you haven't heard of this and your desperate read crimson hero its great unlike this . . . Do yourself a favor and don't waste your time

I enjoyed this series. it was way better than expected and the artwork was beautiful. I thought i would hate the heroine because of her personality (crybabyish) but she got so much better when you find out she is actually useful. i would recommend this to people who like light but very romancey manga. the last story with momozu was super cheesy. i didnt like that one as much.

This is one of the best mangas out there.
It's not just a regular Shoujo manga, it has a different story line and a slightly unique character.
I looooove the humor. This manga makes me literally laugh out loud.
It's a must read. :]

This story is pretty awesome

I really enjoyed reading this one. The story is pretty good, though it has some flaws. I don't really like harem/reverse harem stories but this one was well written. The art was pretty good too, no complaints on this part. Of course there were some parts of it that I didn't like.
Spoiler (highlight to view)
The fact that she was kissing other guys besides the main character was not something I liked. Of course these kisses were either forced or out of necessity(Where Usagi needed to seduce this jerk to escape from being held captive. And also kissing the same jerk to put him to sleep(read the story for details).) She also tried to kiss this one guy to forget about the main guy(she was not aware that the main guy was still alive at that point). But the main guy was not spring chicken either(he kissed at least one girl before meeting Usagi(the main heroine of the story), so I guess it somewhat evens out. I am the type of guy that believes that there is only one man for one woman, that is why I am not a fan of harems, these plots were not something I enjoyed.

Well, the story has great romance, good amount of comedy and drama. Though the comedy is not that great, but good nonetheless. The ending is one of the best I ever read, I don't know why one of the comments says the ending is bad, it ties up everything nicely and we even get to see a bit of the future for the main characters.

I am taking 1 point away for the reasons that are enclosed in the spoiler tag but still, give this series at try, you will enjoy it.

Tail of the Moon

This manga had an entertaining story over all. There were a few spots where the story lagged a little, and the ending was a bit quick. The artwork was great, and certainly added to the enjoyment of reading this one. I would like to have seen something more done with a couple of the secondary characters. It is definitely worth the time to read it.
