It's missing something...

If you ask a heart-warming story, this is definitely for you. The story is simple n happened in everyday-ordinary-life, while no conspirations, no hellspawners, no evildoers, but just a girl who loves child so much.
Yeah, it's so light-read, that I think it needs more weight on it (because sometimes I have no impression about the story).
I wonder, why I like Aria so much (a story with similar theme with this series, but no romance) while I got no much impression from this series... It seems missing something... Gah, I dunno... but that's it...

really, i love shounen manga, fighting scene, harem and of course comedy

i really really have a few Shojou manga to collect, and this is one of them
cute, heartwarming, and of course it can read by anyone (yeah parents, sister or niece)
the moral story in here is big too...

recommended for you who want a "light" read after too much work or shounen manga...

yes, it made me cry more than twice. the main character is sweet, but not boring sweet, and you actually can feel her pain and loneliness.
the characters are very well built and the kids, OH THE KIDS... they made me laugh more than i intended to.
give this one a try, you won't regret it

I wonder if in the next few chapters they'll confess to each other.
It was so light and it makes me wonder if it'll get dramatic soon.
Would there be a "time skip"confused
would they fall apart?
errr.. it would be cute if they'd start dating

Almost Caught Up!!

So, I've only read up to Chapter 36 so far... I started reading this because I saw a pic of it when I was reading Gakuen Babysitters. When I first started reading this manga, I was absolutely in love with it. I mean, it's a very meaningful, and realistic. In my opinion, Shiharu somehow reminds me of Tohru Honda (Fruits Basket) in some ways. I mean, she's obviously a space cadet like Tohru lol. She shares a lot of similarities with Tohru as well. But the one thing I don't like about Shiharu is how spacey she can be. She's always like, "But, but..." or "This is yours so..." "Oh, I borrowed..." She's really conscientious about these things, and at first it was cute, but now it's just very, very old.

I really want her love-life to spice up just a little. Although, Shiharu is very, very oblivious to that sort of thing. She just recently discovered that Matsunaga-san is a "man", so to speak. Nao, is very much in love with her (for 8 years). Just to remind you, I'm speaking from 36 chapters in. It's very obvious that Nao loves her, and Matsunaga-san has a sort of attraction to her. Shiharu only view Nao as a type of brother, seeing as they "live" in the same orphanage. She views Matsunaga-san as a very nice person, but is starting to get conscious of his being.

Rio and Takera are adorable! So far, I like them! ^^ Also, Aoi-kun and Akane-chan are both adorable as well! You can't beat those two!

**Edit** (Chapter 56)... After about 20 chapters, Shiharu finally realizes her feelings. She plans on keeping it hidden... I wonder how things will turn out. It says 12 volumes on going in Japan, but I'm kind of hoping a Climax will start soon!

the story line so slow, but idk I like it, more realistic for me..
I'm collecting the comics too, hope it's not too long, or if the authors want make it for long story, make it full of surprise then I won't feel bored when I read it ^^
so,,, give 9/10 for this manga ^^

Just in response to some comments I've seen: Yes, it is slow, but that's also rather refreshing compared to many other manga - especially with the age gap! This is far more realistic.
It just feels /particularly/ slow because we also have to wait for updates. I feel if I was just reading it from chapter to chapter one after the other the pace of the romance would bother me less. At the pace it's going now the romance does lose its tension but I don't think that's completely at the fault of the author.
I gave it a 10 when I read the first 30 chapters in one sitting and I still stand by it now.

At first it was good the story was nice the characters development and relationships was going smooth, than it slowed to a snails pace. All of sudden everything is crucial and important, Sbiharu all of a sudden is incredibly annoying to me. I really liked it at the begining. I mean hurry up and get the bleep together! This pace is just to slow. I mean the two kids are cute, and the art is nice too, but I mean...

Love so life & Gakuen babysitters are the only mangas that I'm so bias about regarding the slow romance. It's just that I'm so focus with the toddlers' daily lives with their uncle & Shiharu & the family values they impart with the readers. That's why I don't mind any delay with the romance department because such developments is only secondary on this type of stories. The important thing is that this manga always gives a lingering happy vibe constantly with the life lessons it incorporated every chap. To me LSL has this unexplainable charm that makes your heart skip a beat every chapter releases. So to the potential readers out there, If you want a good manga for the soul please start reading Love so life, you wont regret it.
