Im a super picky reader so this must be great for me to give it a 10/10. The art, the story, the emotions, the pains, everything is just perfect. I hate father x son incest but this totally win me over. The only father x son incest I can approve.

I read these 2 volumes without reading the summary or what specific genre it was. I was like, "I'm in the mood for surprise, so surprise me!" And I REALLY got surprised. I guess I get for what I asked.

Well, other people's reviews pretty much hit the spot. Time-traveling and incest. Sure sounds lame. However, Ike Reibun-sensei really made it into a bitter-sweet heart-twisting story. It sure surprise how much depth to the character's thoughts as we read from their point of view.

Someone mentioned about the watermark. Truth be told, it didn't annoy me and I didn't quite notice it as I was reading it. It was placed well where it won't get in the way when reading.

I'm surprised how well the story was well-written and the art was spectacular as usual. I recommend this manga to yaoi fans. Even if you don't like incest, I'll tell you that it doesn't feel like it at all. Just 2 character's deep emotions and thoughts that would touch your heart instead.

When I read the comments I wasn't convinced about reading this, but, I mean, it's IKE Reibun...so I read it anyway. It was a really good story, I don't have issues with incest, maybe because i'm too open minded (my friends tell me if i was more so, my brain would spill out), anyway, really good story, dealt well with the issues at hand. I would have given it a 10, but it was a bit too heavy at times, I know the issue deserves it, but when I finished this I was quite tired, so i'm giving it a 9.

The art and story are amazing, as with all of Ike's works, but it did take me a little bit to get over the incest aspect of the story. You really feel for Konomi throughout, and so many times I wanted to just hug the guy. Even in the present scenes he looks like a little teddy bear, while Ryou looks like the older of the pair.

There was one thing that helped me get over this one, and it might help others too-

Spoiler (mouse over to view)
The son is the seme in the pair, so even though incest is "wrong", it doesn't come off as abusive.

Also, I have to chime in that people reading this for the first time need to hang in there. The translation is terrible. You can tell it's twice removed from the original Japanese script, and it's like the editor took a vacation in some chapters. Buy a copy and translate it on your own if you understand Japanese.

but nothing too interesting. as a incest and yaoi and shota lover, this should be up my alley, i should be horribly excited, but this don't really give me palpitating heartbeats. there's something missing here - the beautiful but a bit stiff art, the sometimes boring long winded sentences, the slightly dull characters, the age-unrealistic character design, the uninspiring sex, the overly stretched drama....yes, if only it is tighter.

but it is not bad. i won't say it is bad, it have some good points. people who don't read much yaoi may find this very thrilling. however to me, this is good for only one read.

Life Changing

I never was against incest, at all. But I very much disliked parent/child. I never am against any type of genuine love, but doesn't mean I love all of them? haha!

When I was told to pick this up, I only knew it was time travel (which is something I loved). When it got to the point where I knew it was... a little more than that, it was too late. I was stuck on this manga.

The author works very hard to express the complicated emotions developed by the surrounding characters and target really controversial topics. It's a shout out to the world that I admit was very brave of her. As a lot of people said, their views changed drastically. This was definitely changed a lot of my views of the world and I would continue to quote the heart touching words the rest of my life smile

I have really liked this manga so far! It's very interesting, I had never seen a yaoi manga with time travel before... It makes the two guys' relationship complicated. I can't wait to see what's gonna happen. I kinda hope they really are father and son (I mean, biologically related), otherwise the story would lose the thing that makes it interesting.
I'm not rating it yet because only 7 chapters had been released so far.

Why am I not feeling the hype?

I finished reading this manga a long time ago so bare in mind that this not a fresh straight-off-the-bat comment right after reading the story, and that there might be some areas I could not cover wholly. Nonetheless with what that manages to stay on my mind, I have to question why this manga got so many positive reviews and such high ratings? The first volume is quite decent I admit, but the second is just lazy writing to put it bluntly. I felt like it was cut off suddenly to come to a conclusion that doesn't satisfy at all. Right now all I can remember is a big chunk of unresolved - or at least poorly resolved - matter and let me tell you that is not a pleasant feeling at all. On the whole I can't really be in this manga's favour unfortunately.

Confusing but nice

Okay, the plot was really, really confusing. I couldn't keep up with the time thingy and their age, and I practically couldn't get what's happening and had to stopped a few pages to sink the story into my head. But it didn't stop me from reading this of course. The characters were okay, although I think that the love delaying thing is not necessary (and I'm wondering how come Konomi doesn't age at all when Ryou is already all grown up and an adult at that!). The art was nice (as expected of Ike Reibun) and well, other than the complicated plot, everything else was fine. :> I kinda liked the setting. But really, the plot is just way too complicated. It'll probably take a lot of time to understand what's going on. Dx
