I can't make it past the 2nd volume. The story is very badly organized, the art makes it extremely difficult to decipher as to what is occurring. The strange magic and folklore is suddenly shoved down your throat and its hard to grasp what each magical term refers to. It's extremely hard to like any of the characters because just like the rest of the story, they get shoved down your throat and it's hard to tell them apart.

There is no logic, no coherent order, nothing in this story. The whole time I'm reading I keep wondering "what the heck is going on?" This mangaka may have interesting ideas, but she/he needs to learn how to build up a story properly.

It's amazing the art is wonderful, too bad it takes a LONG time to get translated, etc. ♥_♥

Well, this started out pretty interesting but it's like another reviewer said, there is nothing but pretty boys in this series. I guess you can say that this is nothing more then fodder for Yaoi fans. So basically if you like shows like Kyou Kara Maou, or Nobari no Ou which caters to fangirls, this will be your type of manga. I am not one such lady. Unfortunately for me it takes more then endless panels of pretty boys to make my manga world go round. I'm just not into that sort of thing. I will concede the art is good and the story line looks promising, but I just can't get into manga's where there are no women and guys are protecting guys. it's just not appealing.

It's been a while since I read something as bad as this, the story is terrible and makes little sense, there isn't even one decent char and they all act gay, the only decent thing is the art and yet it doesn't have much fluidity so it's hard to follow the action and fights which ain't very good either. That and all that TisiphoneStar said.
I don't get the high rate of this manga at all. Dropped, might try again since all the high votes but I doubt it.

I’ve trouble thinking this is readable.

Hello? You have the brightest , fastest and smartest student hanging around and you’re smart enough to pull off a conspiracy but you don’t have the brains to implement enough security, to stop him from escaping? Your so-called training center is located near a city or another country and it’s supposed to be top secret and unimpetrenable and isolated. Riggghhttt.

If anyone used logic, the most suspicious people are also those who’re high up in authority. Anyone experienced in military, warfare and politics would be accustomed to such betrayal but noooo, nobody knows.

The characters jump into scene after scene where they always meet up with people that somehow possess the “thingamagic” to unlock the next stage of the plot. The characters are smart to do all sorts of things but they’re also dumb enough to fall into traps all the time. No, make it “dumb enough to get killed even if the readers already know they’re going to die”.

If that wasn’t bad enough, the scenes jump around all the time. The type of conspiracy is just like Naruto, Black Cat, Bleach, etc. but done more crappily, though this time it’s supernatural conspiracy.

I completely regretted wasting my time on this pile of garbage. Shouldn’t have listened to my friend, now he owes me lunch.
