Definitely a classic, a drop-everything-and-read-now-if-you-haven't-already. If you feel like it's not your type of manga, well YOUR WRONG! And if you do give this a try and you read a few chapters and you still think that "this isn't for me," well YOUR STILL WRONG xD.
GTO is unlike anything you have probably ever read, and it takes some time to get over the initial shock. I know it took me a few chapters to realize that behind the chaos that is GTO, masterpiece lurks. I'm so damn glad that I didn't throw this series out the door and that I kept on reading and believing the hype. Its ALL true.

In my opinion, a story is a masterpiece when it is not just great but worth something
This story explores the minds of students and how the main character, Onizuka dealt with them.
I did feel the end was rushed, but that was probably because i was hoping for more.
i still can't believe what i read.
It truely makes an impact and one will remember this manga for quiet a while.

Well, this story must be read. Maybe sometimes is boring, though i dont't remember. And anime is crap. Manga far better. And artstyle...good, very good.

This manga has the rep for good reason. Definitely one of the best mangas out there. Should be in anyone's top 20 at least.
Wish the ending answered some questions though...

10/10, need i say more?
I agree, manga is almost always better than the anime equivalent or LA... GTO is a very entertaining read, with some of my favourite characters of all time ( Kanzaki <3 ). The manga is definitely one of my favourite comedies, very unique. Drawing styles takes getting use to, could be an acquired taste to some, but I still enjoyed it nevertheless.
this is soo funny if you don't read it youre missing out on like a billion laughs

Aside from the Japanese craziness this manga is very good. Onizuka is insane to the level you just have to like him. The whole student loves teacher (and vice versa) thing is distrubing, but oh well.
