In the chap.85 and up every thing is mess up and it comes too fast, and what is up with that Ranmaru guy why did he love soo much Usa, and why Usa all of the sudden she is stronger, physically and emotionally and in the next page she become a cry baby ,weak, like her old self again(I would have like she stay with her long hair but=_= Oh and Hanzo leave her by herself even when he knew she was suffering and then returns like nothing happen? mmm... how do I say this the ENDING is junk but t the same time you really love it and have a happy ending so yeah it was god n a strange way ..........................and the extra chapters OMG!!! Mamezo is hooottttt and his capter was soo funny really that made my day ,and yeah I hae to admid I like happy endings is a great comedy-romance-historical manga

I thought it ended too abruptly but the story overall was quite good. Thoroughly developed in a consistent manner. It didn't really slow down for me at any time.

Now, what's a word to describe this manga...?

I'm not really sure what would be a good word to show how much I enjoyed it. Even though the manga was rather long, it wasn't pointless. The heroin grew from someone helpless into a very smart woman, even if times were hard for her. When some of her most important people were supposedly dead, she went on, and didn't give up, even if she was hurting for them. Though her overwhelming affections for the male protagonist amaze me, I still think she's a worthwhile character. Meaning the male protagonist's personality didn't quite agree with my tastes, his being so strict about everything was sickening.
I'm just glad that the protagonists did end up with a good future.

Save me from the stupidity!

The romance is tired and uninspiring, with almost nothing original in it. The heroine is ridiculously genki and simple-minded to a fault (it would be cruel to call her moronic, but it's a near thing). In essence, this manga made me gnash my teeth at its stupidity. I want to concuss myself for even bothering to read it. The story has no brain and no real heart -- everything is superficial and unsatisfactory.

Please spare yourself the misery, and find some intelligent shoujo to read instead. Yazawa Ai would be better, as would Souryo Fuyumi.

its okay i love sara and hanzo though but for some reason i don't like the main character. i just don't like the heroine at all...she's just so imature and whinny all the time. i would have really enjoyed it if the heroine was stronger

I broke down and purchased the comic up to volume 10, and for those who are reading scans, the story is just. Getting. Started. Usually by this time, a manga will have jumped the shark, gotten boring, have redundant characters who all look and act alike. But Usagi is growing as a person, Hanzo is showing another side, and more pieces of the past are showing up to totally f*** up the present. The only reason I stopped at 10 is that 11 was out of stock. This is Tail I'm riding to the end.
