Interesting elements in the beginning

Interesting elements in the beginning, however, the entire story turned into yet another draggy series which would've been far more interesting had it been trimmed down by half.

In the beginning very intersting

It starts very intersting, the hole mind controlling thing is a nice idea , but after a few volumes it`s getting pretty boring, nothing happens at all.The important things are told in the first 3 volumes and then absolutly nothing happens. It seems the mangaka run out of ideas and used the same elements again and again, in the end I was glad when I was finished because it started to bore me a lot.

Stunning, brilliant, moving...

This is a truly intelligent, entertaining and engrossing manga about the human mind, and about what makes it function the way it does. The plot of the ES gene is brilliant in and of itself, but what really makes this manga memorable is that it explores the depths of human consciousness. Even the minor characters are explored fully and in amazingly unique ways. The poetic imagination of Souryo Fuyumi gives this manga a special intensity.

One of the best seinen stories out there. Check it out!

Another one that definitely stands out from many of the other manga out there. The story, art, and depth make this one worth reading regardless of which genre you prefer.

I'm a fan of Souryo Furumi's drawing. I think that was what attracted me to this series first. But the storyline, character development was done marvellously. Although this is a psychological, seinen manga, I think what drove the protagonist at the end of this story is Love, in order to protect those he love. To sum it up, the love feeling featured here is stronger than in any other shoujo mangas that I've read.
It's really-really good. Download and read it. You will not regret it.

An opinion of the 8 volumes so far...

This manga it's really good, the story it's really strong and full of complexity, you can manage the reading according to your own way of thinking. What's right and wrong acccording to your concepts, moral and values? That's the hiting point of the plot, the right and wrong, the consequences off your own actions, the society line betwenn the right and wrong and the inner thoughts of the human brain (and the brain mysteries itself), if you want a tired of the usual softh or similar mangas (sporty, romantic, etc.) you must read this manga that goes right down to the issue of morals, murder, concience, science, technology, love, society, etc. Read Eternal Sabbath... you will really enjoy it.
