Kawaii-ness overdose!

THIS IS JUST SO CUTE. I love everything about LSL. Yes, the "dating" relationship may be slow, but there's enough love in this manga from every aspect that for me personally, I'm happy the way it is! I also love children, ever since I can remember. So watching toddlers grow up in manga-form is so fantastic! Really good, I recommend it!

SO CUTE! But the romance is frustratingly slow. Yet that's nice in its own way, because honestly romances where one party is under-age aren't met with the usual easy acceptance shoujo manga would have us otherwise believe. It adds a sense of realism. And I can respect that Matsunaga has his own moral code, which many shoujo heroes tend to forego as well. Love So Life (cringe-worthy title, but the content is worth it, believe me!) is a breath of fresh air from the usual shoujo cliches and stereotypes yet not so different that it is discomfiting. I'd even say that romance takes the backseat in this particular manga, which is rare indeed, yet the few hints of it, though sparse, remain satisfying. Definitely slow-paced, I wouldn't recommend this to impatient readers but those who appreciate a patient but steady sort-of not-quite romance with tons of great potential.

Adding pudgy toddlers to an adorable shoujo is a combination that works to please the fans, atleast I certainly was. A cute romance, with the cutest little chubs I've ever seen. While reading this the estrogen was seeping out of my skin.

Any one who has a nostalgic yearning for love should read this. Although Shiharu and Seiji don't delve into any particular romantic moments, it is a remarkable take on love that doesn't follow your typical shoujo model. Read it, you won't be disappointed, and most of the characters are lovable and show real maturity that is worth emulating in real life.

This is such a refreshing change from your fast-paced, usually stupid shoujo manga. There is actual DEVELOPMENT before the two main characters are madly in love. It's realistic and very cute!!

And is it just me, or is Shiharu like Tohru Honda (fruits basket) reincarnated? They have nearly the same personality, and the same mother-who-past history.

--A Story About Twins--
by Day Dreamer

Love So Life was a favorite back in the day, back when I dived into it unknowing the kind of story it was to become.

I wanted a slice-of-life romance with a babysitting subplot. I got a full on babysitting plot with hints of romance. I wanted Shiharu and Matsunaga to truly be the leads of this manga. I got Aoi and Akane as the hero and heroine with Shiharu and Matsunaga as side characters. I wanted an age gap story that would show the progression of how these two managed to start a relationship and overcome societal obstacles in their dating lives. I got a romantic subplot that chickened out towards the end and ended with a late reunion.

I think the twins are adorable, but I did not expect them to become the story. I love Shiharu and Matsunaga. I didn't get to know them as much as I would have liked. If you're expecting this to be an age difference romance, it is not. It has hints of such a story, but, disappointingly, we never get to see much of it for ourselves.

This manga is awweeesssommmeee. Being a guy, i'm not usually into Shoujo stuff, but if you're into cute things or nice stories, then i highly, HIGHLY recommend this.
Those damn twins are killing me with their cuteness. More so than when i read Little House With an Orange Roof with the two little kids.
A very light-hearted manga (so far anyway..) which is a nice read

Oh my goodness!!! This is such a refreshing read, the cutest manga I've ever seen in my life, I can relate to the girl because I love children and I'm in an Early Childhood magnet in hihg school preparing to take care of kids my self. BUt besides that the kids are so adorable!!! And funny, teh story about the girl is sad and I tend not to like tragedies but it looks like shes finding her own happiness in these bundles of joy.
