Wow. That was amazing.
You can't just stop from the first chapter and make your judgement then. It's light, fun loving, and just makes you feel all fuzzily happy inside 8D!
hopes for a sequel ??haha, just kidding

i love how socially awkward they are.. it makes me utterly embarassed for them. XD

completely unfathomable and fluffy, but .. well, that's what makes it a shoujo manga, n'est pas?

best part is trying to anticipate how embarassing and squishy the next scene will be.. and i'm usually good about guessing what will happen after reading over hundreds of shoujo series.. but the lack of the typical shoujo personality in the protagonist definitely changes things up. X3

[sniff] This was such a good read!!! Actually a MUST READ!!! For a shoujo the main character was not some annoyingly ditzy female but someone strong and kind. I loved that both of them enriched each others lives and genuinely fell in love. It wasn't anything dramatic or grandeur but was so sincere...Also I love that both just accept each others flaws but in turn help each other become better people!!!

The premise was actually quite a lot of fun at first. Haruna is not girly, quite the contrary, and she hasn't given guys any thought until high school, and when she does, it's quite the catastrophe. Yoh is the shy type who doesn't want to think about girls. So far, so good.

Except that at some point, the story really drags on too much, with nothing much plotwise and the manga gets trapped in the shoujo stereotypes. The characters get so unreal that it gets freaky and I'm considering not finishing it.
But for its beginning, it still deserves this 8,6

I only read the first chapter of this and it was SO bad I couldn't read any more. Such a ridiculously BAD premise and it's so obvious how the story is going to go from there. Ugh, ugh, and ugh again.

i wonder how Kawahara Kazune created him... i do know that i'm madly, head over heels, in luv with him, though.

It's simple and sweet, which is something i like, but I think it's a little pointless after a few of the dramas of the plot passed. Right now, it seems like a slice-of-life kind of story. Which is nice, but it doesn't keep me on the computer too long.
the art is a little weird for me, but its not unbearable. the girl is nice, but she's so naive it kind of freaks me out. The guy is quiet but the typical cute guy. I like that he isn't too outspoken and the girl seems to be the boyfriend sometimes. i like how the guy is shy and doesn't like to be involved with girls too much but ends up doing sweet things for haruna. to me, thats sweet ^_^

I'm sure shojo fans absoultely love this series. I like shoujo and all, but this series is so shoujo packed that it makes me twitch. Maybe ive been reading shounen too long, but the plot is pretty original with the finding a coach to make you attractive and stuff. The art is nice too. So... okay.

volumes 1-7 were amazing but it tents to drag a bit after that.still its one of the better shoujo romance mangas out there.

im not sure why it says to be continued at the end of chapter 48 though....?

A very refreshing spin on a lot of old cliches in shoujo with some nice newness that doesn't exist in very many mangas. I love how most of the story has to do with them strengthening their love through adversity. Situations are realistic enough to be believable but original enough to be entertaining. Overall a very well put together story that doesn't drag on and on as some manga tend to. One of the best I've ever read. Siskel and Ebert give it two thumbs up!!
