Description
Akira Shiraishi, a young high-school boy with feminine features, joins Blaue Rosen, the all-girl band that Mizuki Sakurazaka, an androgynous girl of the same age, performs lead electric guitar in.

Their high-school life is anything but typical: Mizuki is the "prince" of her all-girl school while Akira is the "princess" of the neighboring all-boy school. A series of comical events brings them closer together, even as the prejudice of the people around them tries to hold them back.

OMG, this was my first gender bender series and I official love it. All summer I was looking for some good romance stories to read and this and 3 others were just the best. The main characters are very cute and enjoyable to read (especially Akira). I totally reccomend this story to read if you are really into the gender bender themes ^_^. And read the sequel too. It is good bigrazz

I have to say that this was a fun read. I love the twists that are involved in this gender bender romance. Plus, it's a big A in my book to see the characters personalities in their fullest bloom.

Oh man. I first thought that this was yaoi. Then I realized that the boyish looking person was a girl, whilete girlish looking person was a guy. That was an eye opener. Props for having a kiss scene in the music room. I always find that a necesity in mangas in which music is a big theme. The fact that the girlish looking guy somehow looks so dashing and manly when he's alone with mizuki just makes the manga great. Mizuki herself is so... COOL LOOKING (theres just no word to describe how she looks like) Character designs are just fabulous. The clothes ate fabulous as well.

OVERALL. this manga gave me a tingly blushy feeling. Although the height difference is a bit shaky (akira looks taller than mizuki in some important scenes) but no biggie. I recommend this to anyone who wants a quick read.

haha it was hard for me to continuously remind myself that Mizuki is a girl XD. i wish she wore more girlish clothes though!. It was also hard for me to make up their voices in my head like mizuki having a middle/high voice and Akira as a deep voice just so it wouldn't be weird. A good series, good plot but i didn't really like the ending plus some of the scenes that were intended to be arousing..were kinda creepy... haha anyway, not bad though.

This manga has really caught me. The idea is brilliant, characters amusing and the art decent. But in the end it's Akira who makes this manga worth it all, he is awesome just awesome. The contrast between his looks and his personallity works extremely well, he takes advantage of his looks and uses it to manipulate those around him. It's also nice to have a female main character who's not the steriotypical shojou heroine you are used to. I like how Akira forces Mizuki to confront the feminime side of herself. Her and Akira work very well as a couple and I really enjoy their relationship.

Although the story is good and so are the chacters, I really had a lot of problems adjusting to the thing that the hero looks like a girl and heroine looks like a boy..and the times when the hero showed his more maskuline side it looked like I was reading yaoi, whch is not a genre favored by me.
Well it's only my opinion, but if the character looks would be toned a bit, especially the looks of the heroine, the manga would be much easier to read..at least for me..

this reminds me alot of pheromomania syndrome, what with akira like keishi, really cute but also showing a darker and meaner side to everyone else who tries to get close to mizuki. and also the way mizuki and hatori are very similar (guyish looking girl) but also showing their girly moments... all in all i think its a good read, even if its very cliche.

I got hooked! It's so different from her other stories, like big guy-small girl, that I just can't wait to see what happens next smile It's sweet, and sometimes very funny, so I say read it before you judge smile
