It's refreshing to see bishounen drawn so lively and endearing. I also like some mature aspects of these mangas. A story of an unrequited love that is indeed not taken to it's end.
Weird...

This was a weird volume. The first and third stories are about the same girl - who is so annoying, I wanted to kick her to the ground, then help her up just so I could do it again. What a vapid, money-hungry, self-centered you-know-what. To make matters even worse, the mangaka says at the end of the volume that the character is based off of a real friend of hers. OMG wut? Why would anyone want to be friends with someone like this, let alone immortalize them by writing a manga about someone like them? A girl like this needs to be thrown off a cliff while she's clutching some precious Prada bag or something. Ugh. The male lead in these chapters was a likable fellow, which makes it ultimately a little sad that he's stuck with this vapid creature.
The second chapter was about a friend of the main character's - who is actually a decent character. I could relate to her, at least, and she wasn't hateful. The story, however, was a bit odd. It was realistic, for sure - this kind of stuff goes on all the time. But the overall story just left me with a "So... what now?" feeling. I guess you could presume the mangaka will continue this character's story in the next volume(s), but the other chapters could be taken as stand-alone stories, so it seems weird that this one would just be so flat as a stand-alone.
The extra also had decent characters, but another WEIRD plot overall. This story left me thinking, "What now?" as well. I mean, as it is, the story doesn't make much sense. Sure, the couple is in love and everything... but they have no real future as far as the story presents it. Lame.
Overall, this volume just left me feeling unfulfilled... and wanting to punch the crud out of the main heroine. I won't be waiting for volume 2. I'll just quit while I'm (not) ahead.

I'm in love with this... it's a short-story kind of thing starring two friends with their own love stories and problems (so far two). I wouldn't say it's typical shoujo, because these girls are 20 and they're not in high school, but it's got all the good elements like fluffy scenes and cuteness and humor. Mayu's story is more light and happy, while Ritsuko's story is more sad and bittersweet. So far I'm only at Vol. 1 so I don't know how it'll turn out later though.
If you're looking for something cute to read, something quick that won't drag out for a long time or make you terribly obsessed, then this is it. I find the plot interesting and rather realistic, and a lot more refreshing than the usual high school girl romance stories. It's good!
