Aoi Destruction is a compilation of short stories by Kazurou Inoue (Midori no Hibi and Aikora).
1) The first 3 chapters are dedicated to the title story (Aoi Destruction). Tough Guy Tetsuo lives a complicated life alone with his father, Aoi. Nothing strange about that, except, Aoi looks and acts like a little girl.
2) is 'Rare Bookshop Owner Yakou's Hard-Fighting Chronicles'. Yakou was left to run his father's rare book store and bitterly resents it. Then a super-hot babe walks into his store. She's a "book-detective" and tells him she's taking over the store so Yakou can pursue his family'... More...

Mixed bag, but overall decent

I'll preface this by saying Kazurou Inoue is, without doubt, my favorite mangaka working today; both Midori no Hibi and Ai Kora are among my very favorite mangas of all time and I love his clean, easy to read art style, and wicked sense of humor.
That said, this collection of short stories is not his best work. In here you'll find one fairly decent one (the 3-part Aoi Destruction), one pretty forgettable one (Rare Bookshop Owner Yakou's Hard-Fighting Chronicles), and then a couple of really excellent ones (both Full Scratch Eiji and Otone no Naisho were fantastic in my opinion, and both could have easily been expanded beyond the single chapters they were given). You've still got that great artwork thoughout, but some of the humor, and magic, that you find in Midori no Hibi and Ai Kora is not quite as evident.
Overall it's still a worthwhile read, and to Inoue's fans I'd recommend it without a second thought. If you've never read any of his works before though, I'd suggest starting off with Midori no Hibi, and then if you like that downloading this one (and Ai Kora as well, which is my favorite of his).

After reading Midori no Hibi and Ai Kora this one comes up lame. It has some good comedy but this one didn't suit my taste too well

Very amusing short stories. I always wondered what happened to the middle-aged trap from MnH.
