i love this manga!!! well at one point i did drop it for awhile ( too complicated of a plot. a hacker?? too much computer stuff i don't understand lol) but once i picked it up again from the beginning i realized why i fell in love with it. Teru and Daisy are SUCH LOVEABLE CHARACTERS!!! recommend it! <3

I really liked this series because it was different from typical romance manga. Either the characters were too boring, the plot ran away, the romance was slow, the guy confessed in the first chapter, etcetera, etcetera.
The only REAL problem I had with this was that when I was on Chapter 30-something I started wishing to reread the manga again... Thanks to that, I couldn't finish the manga in a day... And right now, I'm seriously stuck on this manga, so much that I've reread it 5 times in a couple days and I'm not looking for anything else to read... Please suggest something for me to read! Before I die!
When this manga ends, I will probably be in A LOT of pain unless there is a continuation. I cry every time I think about it ending...

Why so much High rating? I don't usually read romance, I find them boring and cliché. When I was introduce to it everybody told me it is not the typical romance manga, the guy not perfect and the girl is not weak. Well, it is the only thing ok about it. Tha hacking plot is bad and the "bad guy" are not interesting. The romance is slow--> great is bad when it goes too fast and the characters have no development, but for a long time it was-->"I know he is Daisy" and "I know she knows i'm Daisy", "but i won't tell him/her", when the feeling are reveal, nothing and then it restart with the hacking/viruses plot again -->I drop it, it's repetitive, slow-paced and boring.

Okay, if you count art as an important factor to determine which shoujo is the best, then maybe you won't say Basara or 7 Seeds.
If you think romance is important, then I guess you won't pick Natsume Yuujinchou or Banana Fish.
If your soul isn't mature enough or you hate angst, maybe you'll count Kare Kano out.
If you the type who shout 'the heroine cries every chapter! weak! weak! weak! i'm totally dropping this' then maybe you've dropped Immortal Rain already.
You occupied your reading-manga time with stuffs like Kaichou wa Maid Sama, Special A, Goong, Black Bird, Bride of The Water God, Faster Than a Kiss, etc. And then you come to worship this manga. How sad. This manga is superior, no doubt, but that's because the standard of shoujo manga for the readers was already too low.
Likeable characters, exciting plot, favorite pairing, and more than skin deep story, right? Then if anything, this manga is on par with Skip Beat. I like the latter more, but it's just my preference.
While I'm at it, honorable mention for great shoujo manga: NG Life, Kamisama Hajimemashita, Gold Rush 21, Akagami no Shirayukihime, Akatsuki no Yona, Golden Days, Issho ni Neyou yo, Mekakushi no Kuni, Reimei no Arcana.

I read into the 40's kind of, then I put this series on hold. I have 5 english volumes; the beginning of the series was cute but also dramatic and romantic. Once the series got around volume 10, and there was still no kissing or anything, I didn't have a big problem, but I felt like the series was being unnecessarily dragged on. Don't get me wrong, I like it and I see the appeal, and maybe I need to go back and read it over again now that it's gone on, but it was like I personally wanted more in terms of story and romance and it wouldn't get there for me. But, maybe it's already there. I might find out eventually when I decide to pick it up again

Yea the romance is slow, but it's HILARIOUS. The lead female is awesome, male lead is adorable, the story is profound, and all the characters are likeable (which is an important aspect in a long running series). This has top ratings in my shoujo royalty (skip beat, ouran high school host club, wallflower, sailormoon, yasuko to kenji, ao haru ride, sa, etc). I look forward to the progress of this wonderful, inventive, and creative series.

When I first started reading this, I was excited. It was fun, Teru is HILARIOUS, and Kurosaki is my hero. I loved their fights, the plot... but lately, it's just getting hard to read. I know he's a computer hack wizard whatever, (and sadly, I don't read japanese (trying to learn but it's going painfully slow), so maybe I'm missing out on some stuff with the translations?) but it's just getting a bit tedious. I read through a chapter now and just see, "blah blah blah" because Teru's always talking about being strong and not worrying Daisy. Daisy's always talking about her letting other's protect her... *sigh*
I'll continue reading, yes, but I need more spark! A faster way forward. Get Teru kidnapped or something! Or Daisy kidnapped and Teru has to sneak around trying to find him and find out he's not really kidnapped but passed out drunk or sick somewhere. I think that'd be funny (huhuhu)

This is above average for what it is (a shoujo manga), but if you know even a little about programming, UNIX/Linux, or network security in general, it is REALLY REALLY STUPID. The "hacking" done by Daisy isn't often touched on, but when it is, it will make you roll your eyes. I almost put it down because of how unrealistic it is, but I kept going because I know the focus isn't really on Daisy's hacking adventures.
Just to give you a little insight into the situation:
That's without even mentioning what Daisy's "exploits" even consist of. Where's nagios? ANY kind of server monitoring tool?
Like I mentioned, if you're not very tech-savvy or aren't really into netsec, his exploits are just going to go right over your head and you won't know the difference. And in that case, it's an awesome shoujo manga that is head and shoulders above the rest. Nice romance, cool characters, good pacing. But if you even know an iota of information about "hacking" (oh that term, oh how I hate it) you will see Dengeki Daisy go full retard about it and you will get very very annoyed.

At one point we see Daisy's bookshelf. I think to myself, awesome! I wonder if there will be any realistic books that a black hat netsec type of guy would actually have?
NOPE
He has Intro to Mac Computing and a book on Cocoa. COCOA. IS HE ONLY EXPLOITING MAC SYSTEMS? WHY WOULD AN "ELITE HACKER" HAVE A BOOK ON MAC COMPUTING AND COCOA
I mean I expected like The Art of Computer Programming, The C Programming Language (you know, the language that the UNIX kernel was WRITTEN IN), maybe some Code Complete, hell I'd even settle for The New Hacker's Dictionary and just call that shit a day. But nope. Mac Computing and Cocoa.

What is he even looking at, is that CSS code? Why did it only take 5 minutes to gain access to? How is he hacking into a laptop's built-in mic and HOW DID HE DO IT IN UNDER 5 MINUTES WHILE LOOKING AT CSS CODE.
COMPUTERS DON'T WORK THAT WAY.Like I mentioned, if you're not very tech-savvy or aren't really into netsec, his exploits are just going to go right over your head and you won't know the difference.
