I dropped it after vol 2

I dropped it after vol 2. To be honest I was excited to read this manga because it reminded me of 3 other manga I really liked: Endou-kun no Kansatsu Nikki (similar art style and vibes), Glare At Me (delinquent bottom who always glares at his crush) and Blue Sky Complex (similar plot about a misunderstood delinquent and his classmate and their relationship throughout the years).

But unfortunately I didn’t appreciate it as much as I thought I would. Vol 1 was cute and angsty but vol 2 bored me. There were already apparent flaws in vol 1 but vol 2 really enlighted all of them.
Like @Nekoszowa said, one volume was enough.

...I think it was stretched out too much... In very similar way to Ten Count. In my honest opinion one volume was enough because I really enjoyed the cute fluffy story and those two extras, for me it was enough. I got rather bored when it turned out to have two another volumes on the way and decided to stop at volume 1.

Besides that, it's worth reading.

I'm a little annoyed that the drama in this manga is caused by really childish faults in the characters, so I get impatient to wait for the eventual resolution. This manga also has a really odd habit of cutting a sex scene off in the middle and flashing back to it in another chapter to finish it. very frustrating, but somehow I was okay with it lol.

at first I wasn't sure what to think of the art, but it eventually grew on me. One thing I still have a complaint about is that when the mangaka makes a character grin or smile, it looks more like a grimace LOL. this manga is still pretty charming overall, and the smut is pretty hot.

About the loud guy making friends with the quiet delinquent, although it seems simple, there is so much more. It's about secrets, truths, friendship and eventually love. I really enjoyed this and liked the art.

As ngerd said, much of this manga is on point and very realistic for a high school setting. I really enjoyed the character development and the lead up to the relationship. It was so cute to see their reactions to each other. As for the poor decisions of one of the characters, the mangaka did a great job of making you feel for him all the same as he struggled through handling his emotions. A very sweet story well worth the read, even a re-read.

THIS FEELS LIKE IT'S SHOUTING AT ME

We've all familiar with the desire to monopolize someone we 'found' first. We want to be special. And often it's rare enough that it's reciprocated. God, this whole thing speaks of a tale of pining on both sides that never really would be likely to be a reality (y'know what with the "so how did you guys end up dating?" "s/he liked me and i liked her/him back" and your thoughts going "sounds fake but ok") when it comes to same-sex friendships-turned-relationships.

God, this tackles the concept of jealousy and monopolizing so clearly (and that's where it speaks to me), but it ends in such a happy ever after that's so fulfilling. It's so good. Love it. Rec forever.

Unexpected (spoilers)

On the surface this seems like your typical high school BL with arbitrary misunderstandings but there's actually a lot more depth to it.

Honda is a surprising character (in a good way). In the first chapter he's this happy-go-lucky dude who jokes around. From the second chapter onward however, he's gradually revealed to have an extremely possessive nature - this is shown through specific panels where he makes (seemingly) uncharacteristic and unsettling expressions and the artwork is darker as if in a shadow. No matter the outcome of this situation (either Honda is actually a sociopath or he realizes why he's acting crazy), I found this super interesting. His possessiveness is not passed off like a joke but actually really ends up hurting Kaidou. The art helps here in showing Honda's deeper psychological problems that result in him being unable to stop running his mouth when he hits Kaidou where it hurts. His reveal and the darker side of his personality are foreshadowed really well. Honda is flawed but works on fixing it - the last time his face is "shadowy" is when he resolves to apologize to Kaidou, and he looks genuinely regretful.

I have much less to say about Kaidou, but I generally love characters whose inner nature belies their appearance. He's super sweet and kind despite looking mean and I love all his blushing.

The art is also adorable (and sinister when need be) and like I said, really works to characterize the two MCs. Their expressions are top-notch.

Right from the get go I knew this BL was something else. Highschool boys ACTUALLY acting like highschool boys?? They're so silly and full of dumb jokes. The way the characters reacted to situations was quite realistic and very UN-cliche.

Expressions, on point. Character development, on point. Cute moments that make you look away from the screen from sheer delight, on fucking point. It's been a while since I've had such an extreme reaction towards a bl.

Not to say that this bl is near perfect or anything. There is a fair share of conflict and bad choice-making that make things sour. Kaidou blushes A LOT. I love that sort of thing, but it may not be everyone's cup of tea.

The plot isn't exactly anything new, except for the part where one of the main characters is a suit actor in training. However, I loved the interaction between the two leads! Honda's feelings were a little bit sudden, but Kaidou's were very well shown. I think the mangaka showed emotions very well through the art. I also think Honda is an interesting character. He's the typical nice guy, but didn't know how to handle his emerging feelings towards his new friend, and ensueing behaviours and actions were interesting too- there must be a Japanese word for the kind of character like that (e.g. tsundere, yandere etc.). It's cool how the antagonist element is served by the actions of one of the main characters, and not just another typical bad or annoying guy. The manga also falls right in the borderline of shounen ai and yaoi- any sex is very covertly shown lol.

I really liked this one!! Lovely art, likable cute characters, sweet love, interesting, funny and cute. Sadly there was no sex in it, and i wish there would be more of it coz it was awesome!!!! Those two were so damn sweet together!!! I was surprised at the end, when they kinda showed who was uke....or maybe it was obvious but i saw something different xDD
Anyway this is something a yaoi fan must read!!!!!!!!~
