Description

It is the year 2100 A.D., and humans have developed a virtual reality game with a realism level of 99%. Feng Lan, due to a bet with her twin brother, vows to succeed in playing the game without using her "female benefits." Due to this, she becomes the first and only female to play as a male character in "Second Life." Oh my god!! This manga is awesome 😀 i dont regret reading it!! The bishies are ~~kyaaaa~~
The plot is kinda unique especially if the girl chooses a male gender instead of female 😉

And the band was Cool~ Though he did that for money (well, ya know, equipments and clothes are not free in games -.-'' you understand if you are a game addict like me) The outfits were Amazing (makes me jealous)
this is one of the best parts of the story 😀 how can people not like that 😕 He has to enjoy himself 😛 not keep fighting fighting and fighting ><''

It does get out of topic sometimes (Nothing is perfect!!!!!!!!!) but it does not matter, i enjoy reading this manga 🙂 Not because of a small little thing that you have to stop reading it or put a 1+ only ><''

Overall, i give it 9 or 10 maximum 😀 i like it not only of the bishies but also of its unique plot.
Totally recommended!!!! 😀

The reason it has been getting bad reviews lately, I have to blame the scanlators (I"M SORRY DX).
But it's true.

I even thought it was getting sort of boring.
But it's because the scans aren't coming out fast enough. > 🙁 I was free one day, and so I decided to reread this series (I was starting to dislike it)
AND I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT ALL OVER AGAIN.
It's the fact that you have to wait. 2 months. For one chapter.
You forget what really happened!

So you don't actually stop liking the manga, you just get bored because you can't remember what happened.

SO PEOPLE READING THIS, TAKE THE OPPROTUNITY OF THE FACT THAT BASICALLY ALL OF THE CHAPTERS ARE OUT. UNLIKE THOSE WHO READ THIS EARLIER, YOU WON'T HAVE TO WAIT FOR CHAPTERS. (:

and THEN, you won't start disliking the manga. Seriously.

I am so glad I read this manga. (: It's one of those that just stays with you, and you start
laughing randomly when you think of scenes from it. xD My friends find it weird, but I don't care.

I'm actually a huge fan of the alternate world, in-game world thing. Since it used to be something I fantasized about (haha), and to be honest there isn't much of it around. Anyhow, when I found this. I was like "FINALLY". I then found out about the novel, and proceeded to read that.
In the end, I have decided to stop reading the manga because of the extremely weird route the story takes...

I would still recommend this, but it gets kinda outrageous about half way through. (:

It started off amazingly! It was funny, interesting, and had all of the good quality shounen badassness that I love with the shoujo romance kick. Up until I got into the last 20-something chapters atleast (meaning starting at chapter 30something). Then, the plot started to lose me, and I am getting bored. I am not really paying much attention to what is going on anymore. It went from a shoujo/shounen, to just an action shounen. The characters haven't really developed in a while (unless you cound Prince losing every spec of femininity he/she had), and the humor seems to fall alittle flat. Hopefully the plot picks up to something worth following soon. Not that it's bad, as I still recommend it!
*last chapter that's updated (55) is making me interested again!!!

New Perspective.

I've read manhwa and manga, but I've never read manhua. Partly because they were most uncommon and they weren't usually popular. But this manhuaga was genius enough to share her own manga with cute art and a good story-- quite different from what I'd seen till now. But I gave up on this manhua because of its confusing intervals between real life and digital life, countless many allies and characters and so and so. I could consider reading it again...

Great premise, no direction

I liked the start of this manga when it was just a few characters and we followed a single characters journey.

Then the group forming started up and the MMO went to the massive scale from having been single character focused. This made the story lose its way and become un-insteresting. To then have some new challenge the plot took a sharp turn where nothing seems realistic any more...

I love this manga! Though in some ways, it is quite predictable and I feel a certain..well, Xiao Lan's BS luck is just really lucky. Nonetheless, it's hilarious and I definitely like the fanservice that they put into this. Really, so many bishies~~~

Story is hilariuos and cute and sweet and back to hilarious. It's just a real GREAT read. I've never went as far as to read 52 chapters in one day but I seriously could not stop and I certainly can't wait for the rest of the series. The heroine defies all typical shoujo girls as she reminds me of a guy, not just because she's one in Second Life.

Everything is unique and unpredictable. But did anyone start jumping up and down when Kenshin was introduced or was it just me? xD oh Kenshin.

Kenshin Himura gets a cameo!! I'm so happy!! hahaha

Don't give up after ch 35

9.5 (could have explored some of Yu Wo's jokes better)

I first clicked on it for the name. It was a fun title.

Then, reading the description, it seemed pretty awesome.

Mary Sues can be fun, but they get old very fast.

However, Feng Lan is a pretty awesome lead. She's pretty and uses this to her advantage... until her brother challenges her. Turning out to be a gorgeous male... hm, not that original. (she still takes advantage of her bishieness, though)

Then, it takes a turn to hilarity. Prince's so handsome it's funny.

As the adventure progresses, they suddenly

decide to form a band

It seems totally unrelated and the manhua gets... this "fanservice' feel. No, don't get me wrong, fanservice is amazing, but this is where many people stop reading.

It's pointless until later on, when they

realize it may have been good to gather resources and players, but did nothing to establish Prince as a reliable and worthy ruler

So... do not fret, Infinite Band haters, this is merely a plot device to introduce new elements to the plot and develop the characters.

The plot thickens and

NPCs become sentient.

With these scifi elements, the plot gets gripping again.

I just can't wait for more!

Disappointing

The first few chapters set the manga up to be an original and worthwhile read. I have to say, around about chapter 35, i completely lost interest. The main character seemed promising and defied most shoujo stereotypes but character insight was lacking and plot development was just altogether forgotten. It seemed to be just another excuse for eye candy for readers. Most of the characters had mary sue attributes, i.e. strong, goodlooking, great companionship, never losing a battle, etc and it irked me to no end. Ironically, it was the lack of reality that diminished the quality. Especially, when the characters formed a band. This was completely unneccessary and as stated above, was just for the pleasure of the readers.

However, all this being said, it did provoke a few laughs from me, which not very mangas do so:

Most HIlarious and Fun Read

I have never laughed so hard from a story and I've read a lot. Yes, it does start out rocky and the drawing may appear weird but that soon smooths out. I really relate to it too since I'm a female gamer and like to play male characters and with blood coated? That's all the more fun.

Ahem. While the MMORPG that it has isn't like the ones we have, it's still hilarious enough to make me cackle or laugh out loud like a hyena. I wouldn't be surprised if my family thought I was insane. It also makes me want to log into a game since the fighting scenes are very well made.

Give this a read and don't let the rocky beginning fool you since every story is like that.
