In response to Convalescence, I think the atmosphere of the manhua was typical fantasy MMO fare. Certainly it shares similarities with RO, but I don't see how a fantasy MMO gag manga which draws from typical fantasy MMO could in any way be ripping ideas from a standardized genre.
First and foremost, it's a gag manga, and a funny one at that. Try the first chapter to measure your taste- it is an example of its nonsubtle humor at its adorable best.
Feng Lan is a funny, impulsive girl whose gender is, by circumstance, set as male in this virtuworld...which eventually starts intersecting with her real life, and that's where the drama gets some of its fire.
Later, as the series progresses, it starts to focus on some cheesier arcs and gag love triangles (characters squealing "keep away from XX! mine!" etc.) quite frequently, and the protagonist becoming more arrogant than her humble beginnings, which was when this manhua started petering off for me, when it became less about fighting and more about maintenance. The plot is rather repetitive, the arcs becoming more full-blown in succession, and a couple characters of the main characters are underdeveloped compared to those in triangles.
While the later bits didn't maintain its original humor for me, I still think it's charming enough, and I'm hooked to see these characters through until the end. ^_^
