So, thought it was gonna be a disgusting story about the wife two timing the husband, but who knew the husband's worse than i thought, eek~
Well it was cool, whole thing was entertaining, story and art, i give it all a thumbs up!

Okay, even though it was sooo blatantly obvious how the manga would end, I still loved it!!! I have no idea why either. I've read this oneshot a dozen times already and I still go 'Kyaaa~!' whenever I come to the kiss scene. Oh, this was also my first time reading a manga by the mangaka and now I'm an avid follower of her other series, 'Chocolate Girl' because of this story.
And, did I mention the art!! Oh my God! The first thing I fell in love with was her art. The way she draws her characters are incredible (minus the weird shark teethed chibis)!!!!

I'm always willing to be more lenient towards one-shots because there was to be some suspension of disbelief to compensate for the fact that you don't have chapters and chapters worth of time for exposition. That being said, Blanc Marie does a good job of being a romantic one-shot. The writing (and maybe this is kudos to the scanslating group) is good. There are some genuinely romantic lines. That being said, the story's rushed, and the character's are kind of bland, but again, this is a one-shot, so the mangaka didn't have the resources necessary to flesh out a deep and meaningful story.
Blanc Marie is an injection of cute romance (and it's a pretty good, not-too-overly-sweet-or-contrived one at that), so I'd recommend it for anyone looking for something romantic.

And make it sounds like she is doing something wrong I mean if my future Husband do the same thing as the "husband" here , I would react the same
Spoiler (mouse over to view)
I mean he didn't go to the ceremony and played with other girls
... This is really a nice cliche manga. I love the characters I have to love and hate the one I am suppose to too. So theirs more to the manga that you read the the description.I know it's cliche...

But I can't help it.
I love how Sensei has SUPER CRACK in her works...really...but this is like a fresh new breeze from her with an actual better development.
I just had a fight with her other work "Aisuru Hito" and hated the ending (her still going back to the love-interest she started with) I wanted for her to change her mind coz it didn't really seem to me like she really loved him... /sigh. But alas...it cannot be help.
So this one-shot made me happy somehow. I like how it ended...in the first place, she was already adamant to wanting to leave him when he left her in the altar, but she still went on with it coz there was a nice guy - his brother - to make her go with it, and make her feel like she's still needed. Although usually one would just run off from it but if she did the story won't go on. Still this is a one-shot so we can't ask too much from it. I think it's a lovely one-shot. It's something different from Sensei's usual works so I give it 9.9 for now.

I am very dissapoint...
I was left face-palming at every other page, and I will explain to you why:
Female lead: weak, stupid, naive and any other adjective a feminist would loathe in a female protagonist.
I hate, hate, hate her husband. He left her at the freaking altar!! Bastard.
This story is so predictable, cliche, and all around just... not worth it, even if it is a oneshot.
The four points I confered were only for art; the bishounen is a very tasty eye-candy. I gave an extra 0.5 points 'cause I liked the way how Sakiko(?) read his poker face.

Her [irresponsible, moronic, unreliable, bastard] husband left her at the altar and she stayed...I can't even ...
Moreover, she knew full well that he was cheating on her, yet she stayed, until her encounter with him when he called her a stupid wife. That's a fucked up comment but he's right though...

It's the 11th piece of work I read from that mangaka. Yoshihara's art is so adorable - I've completely fallen for it ;_; Just seeing it makes my entertainmentlevel raise a large step. Well most their chars from their mangas looks alike. Like in this one the male main guy looks like Doumoto from Chou yo Hana yo (I guess that's why I liked this one from the first frame xD). But ah well, that applies to many other mangakas anyway.
This oneshot is a typical Yoshihara short-story. Predictable, cliché, romantic and sweet. Always makes me go 'ewww'. It does lack the smut some of her other mangas have. So compared to them this one actually has no smut at all. Fail-tagged.
